So anyone here consulted over not allowing Vuvuzelas into Withdean?

Or as ever was it a series of over 50's who make up the voice of the supporters club, but are hardly representative of the majority that watch the Albion.
you are kidding:facepalm:they are unique to Africa (possibly only South Africa?), move on.....

Where did you get the idea that its only over 50s that would ban them ? If you want NO atmosphere , no ooohhs & rrrrs, then I suggest you go to see a womans international hockey match, which is on a par with those bloody things, I can honestly say that there was not one game where I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was killed stone dead

Did you GO to any though? Many people who actually went said the atmosphere was fantastic, the fact it didn't translate well onto a TV screen doesn't mean there wasn't one.

I did. I'm 23 and they got on my nerves after a couple of games, they certainly create noise but it wouldn't suit the English game. There is no singing and no banter, just constant buzzing noises.

Perhaps it's also an O,H&S issue.

Only takes one fool to blow it in someones ear and cause a bit of damage and next thing you've got a law suit on your hands.
