I'd be very surprised if Ken Brown asked anybody in the supporters' club.

Its a health and safety issue. It will prevent people leaving Withdean with musical (?) instruments buried in their arses.

Yeah, cos it's only the over 50s that hate the f***ing things :wozza:

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people will be pleased.

There would certainly be more fisticuffs than usual between fans if they were allowed.

On NSC for over two decades...
Where has it been announced that they are banned then?

If they have, then good, bloody annoying things...

I will pledged £10 to REMF if any NSCer can prove to me they blew a Vuvuzela within the confines of the Withdean Stadium.

True, it would certainly disturb the sleep of many at Withers.

Realistically how many would have been sold anyway?

No adult would have been seen dead with one, so it is just a bit of distraction for the kids at matches, and IMO anything which keeps them entertained and increases the chances of them coming back is a good thing.

The fact that they wouldn't be able to hear the insightful comments of those around them with an assortment of comments such as 'Sort it out Poyet', 'El Abd is f***ing shit', 'Wanker, Wanker, Wanker' and 'Get that lazy Bastard Murray off the pitch now' is clearly a great loss to them.

What a load of shit, I went to South Africa for the world cup, and went to non-england games (brazil vs chile) and you could barely hear them in the ground, the reason they are so loud is because TV channels can't mix the sound properly

Typical zero consultation on this and to appease the chosen inner circle no doubt.

Another masterstroke by the club to alienate fans, bet you can use them in the 1901 club

Sadly I reckon they didn't speak to a single fan over this, why should we believe they did? I made my point on ATC, but not so much as a response till after the decision was made. All flannel, but then again, if TB wanted them banned, what has it got to do with anyone else? I just wish they would be HONEST about it and say, "TB doesn't want them, end of"

what a sweeping generalisation with no proof to back it up.

As we've been told on here many times (by you amongst others) there cannot be an inner circle now as Dick Knight has been given his marching orders and anybody who was a licker of his has been banished from the kingdom.
