Someone who can and WILL shoot and hit the target.

Walking it in doesn't work, I think we have sufficient video evidence.

Also a wide player who can cross into a potential goal scoring area consistently/reliably

A new Bruno @25 years old ish

Another striker and a midfielder with the ability to break into the box. But Bloom doesn't like doing business in January so I'm not expecting much, if anything at all.

Where does this idea about Bloom not liking to do business in Jan come from - is it something he’s stated himself? Our business in the transfer window over the last 6-7 years seems to contradict that if he has. Some of our most significant signings have been made in Jan: Ulloa, Stephens, Knockaert and Locadia (in terms of fee paid), as well as a number of other players and also the attempts to sign Virgil VD and Dembele.

We have Bissouma, who I think can do that role. I’m just not sure Potter goes for that type of player.

And Bloom, as always, is right. Prices go really stupid in the January window. I wouldn't have wanted to spend in the next window either were it not for the (still) baffling decision to bin off Andone. This has left us woefully short of options up top with Connolly out so unfortunately it seems like he will need to shell out to bring a top striker in. Edouard would be my pick.

Never ceases to amaze me how we view players so differently - horns and halo all over the place. "Propper not good enough" is laughable to me, as was Stephens "not good enough" last season. But clearly people see it that way - no problem in that. I think options at full-back are greatest need. Bernardo, fully-fit and confident could be one of them - his athleticism allows him to recover and defend 1 v 1 more effectively (Still think he may have a role in back 3), but beyond that we look short. . Solly can do a job, but it really is a specialist position these days, and without pace to go both ways it is very difficult.I like Montoya but I think he struggles 1 v 1 in middle third particularly. I am really concerned about the Palace game for this reason. I also think another forward, with pace/physicality to challenge/support Connolly and Maupay would help. Such a shame that Andone will not be that player, but that "style" will still cause problems for so many defenders.

Most of our players are too slow. Leicester didn't just move faster than our players, they thought faster and played passes faster. Apart from Gross, I'm struggling to think of any of our players who would have played that through ball to Vardy for their first goal.

Priorities pretty much unchanged for me.

1 A right wing back who can shoot. We don't have great options as cover/alternative to Montoya. (with apologies to fans of the Greyhound)
2 Another striker, you always need another striker. We can muddle through playing one up front if we start picking up injuries, why muddle through though? Sign someone for next season and get them bedded in, if we can find the right player.

This. It is so obvious IMHO.
