I totally appreciate what you're saying but I'm looking at this objectively. If this player is as good as Brighton fans say he is (I've heard some say he's a generational talent) then it will be nigh impossible to keep hold of him unless you're paying wages and winning trophies in line with the richest, most successful clubs.

It's not the way we want football to operate, but it's simply systematic of our capitalist society. I'm sure Independente Delle Valle fans didn't want to lose Moises Caicedo either.

Anyway, whether Moises stays with Brighton or leaves for pastures new I wish you well. Enjoy your away days in Europe this season. I'm sure you'll be an excellent side with or without him.
So what you're saying is Chelsea along with City who systematically cheated their way to winning many trophies should continue their collective skewing of what we all consider fair.

He is definitely as good as Brighton fans say he is. I'm a little disappointed that only Chelsea appear to have noticed and that nobody has yet offered what he's truly worth.

The Guardian (are they now tabloid gossipy and a voice for London based Chavs?), are saying deals are close for Caicedo and Tyler Adams. Predicting that Caicedo will start for the Chavs v Liverpool.

I’m using this as a litmus test this week on who to trust in future transfer news.

Do they have factual information from the only people that count here? Or have they been swept up in the Chavs/Caicedo’s agents propaganda?

That racist post by ‘the Celery King’ referring to Tony as a ‘grubby little Jewish trader’..........................This was it wasn't it so everyone can see you here for what you are!
It has previously been said on here that as Chelsea have their song about celery it’s quite likely that lots of Chelsea fans use a celery based name on forums and as such it probably isn’t the same person.

Timing.
Manure by all accounts must sell quite a few players to buy again (FFP), plus the ownership issue.
FSG run Liverpool as a business with zero owner investment on players. A very rare concept these days.
Abu Dhabi have defensive midfielder requirements covered and some, Rodri considered the best in the world.
Arsenal have found £300m down the sofa this summer, they must be at the FFP limit.
Newcastle have had low income compared to the others, the Saudis have pushed investment to the limit.
Real Madrid have sorted out their midfield for the next 5 to 10 years.

No not likely, TheShedEnd has very very few with that word in their monica. Possible I grant you. However, glad he is gone!

I’d love the new Chelsea mouthpiece the Guardian to be wrong …. that this will complete and Caicedo will start at the weekend.

Until now I thought all the broadsheets football sections were incredibly accurate on transfer news, very clearly separating that from a chatty relaying of rumours.

So badly managed by Chelsea.
A new manager under pressure to produce results early.
He wants a certain key player early to get him involved in Pre season.
Instead, they fanny about with incremental offers trying to destabilise us. They fail.
They are now in a weak position being so close to the start of the season.
So long as we have our contingency plan in place we are in a good position.

You have to laugh at the number of reports that have Brighton and Chelsea spending the summer constantly negotiating, always in touch, always edging towards a deal. The reporters never explain why, every now and again, Chelsea forget what has been discussed in that day's conversation and email over an unacceptable bid that is immediately rejected.

Does this mean they’re off Caicedo? Bringing in adams and Lavia, surely they’re not going to spend a further £100m in top of the £70m for 3 players in the same position?
Obviously we don’t know if it’s true, but we can but hope.

Will be interesting to see what happens here. They were apparently in for Tyler Adams and of course Caicedo as well.
