Green Jacket and Swiss Cottage for me. 3 mates and I got thrown out of the Green Jacket once for being too rowdy and singing Beatles songs! We were about 17 at the time.
I remember the Swiss Cottage had a Space Invaders game machine or the other game where the space ship split up into sticks when hit. Can't remember the name of that game.

As a 13 year old, you could get served in the 'other' pavilion at Hove dogs. What is now and has been for some years, Legal & General & Lloyds Banking Group Offices.

Seeing as you’re saying ’what is now and has been for some years’ I’ve slightly edited your post for you[emoji6]

In the public bar of what was always known as the Swiss Gardens in those distant times before it was converted into a restaurant. My tipple was Black Velvet (Guinness & Cider).

There was a pub in Glynde I'm pretty sure half my year group from school got in one night, **** knows how! Most my mates are from Lewes so when the sitting in a park days were over, the snowdrop used to serve us

The Trevor Arms?

Yes, super pub. I played cricket out that way and would frequent. I have a picture of myself holding a pint in the garden aged 17.

Barry and Teresa would serve alcohol to a toddler if they had the right money. I can’t even remember the first time I bought alcohol in Bartree but it was certainly before I ever shaved.

First pub pint was aged about 15 in the Marlipins in Shoreham in about 1980. Many years later the barman admitted that both he and the local law knew that about 5 of us were all under age, but to quote him “you were all good customers and never caused any trouble, so the police just let it go”

First pint was in The Belvedere..

When at 4th year of Fawcett i landed my first 'job' in the 'Miami Dolphins Fish and Chip Shop' between Belvedere and FoW for princely sum of £40 for 45 hours work.. I was filthy rich at 15..!

Working with older lads i got my first beer.. .. After that, FoW, Hennekys, Northern, Sussex, Coaster's, Busby's etc

The Manor House, Eastcote and The Swan, Ruislip (@AmexRuislip will know these 2). I can still recall a wild west style fight in the latter one merry Christmas Eve. Bar stools and glasses flying across the room. It's now a Cafe Rouge.
