When will it time to start worrying about Russia?

May be when Putin goes but then it might be never in our lifetimes. Having said that they are probably not the biggest threat any more.

Why has Barack Obama airdropped 50 tons of ammunition into areas that “moderate rebels” in Syria supposedly control? This is essentially the equivalent of poking the Russians directly in the eyes. Much of this ammunition will end up in the hands of those that the Russians are attempting to bomb into oblivion, and so to Russia it appears that we are attempting to make their job much harder.
I'm not getting into the rights and wrongs, and what's best, but in terms of the timeline of who's doing what: The US were training rebels and arming them before Russia started bombing them, so it's really Russia poking the US with a stick, not the other way round.

The trouble is this could quite possibly land up in ISIS's hands. We see the US warning Russia that their intervention will escalate the war, but the US will make certain of it and blame Russia anyway, and give it the big old “told you so”.

Don't worry, you are responding to a direct quote from globalresearch.ca, which is fervently pro-putin ( or maybe just anti-all-things-USA ).

Quite simply, you are wasting your time responding to any fantasy from that website.

Only one country that escalates things and it's the USA....They're just a bitter greedy deluded country.

Very interesting...I think this puzzle is finally being cracked as for years it just didn't make sense by bombing these countries and getting nowhere. The reaction by the states as soon as Russia started bombing was priceless....They hate it as the Russians are in the way of what the states want.

Putin knows all this and he knows who to target and the targets are the ones the states won't bomb...The states are a bloody joke full stop.

Yep. That guy Shariff (bottom left) pro US got well and truly battered.

It was interesting the older fella saying that the US came up with a mandate to change the Syrian regime in 1991.

This debate is also very interesting. The US guy, James something, couldn't resist demonising Assad as a genocidal dictator at the end. There is also a view point from the Lebanese lady who more or less lives next door to Syria.

Just another one if you are interested.

Assange on 'US Empire', Assad govt overthrow plans.

US started planning to instigate a coup to overthrow Assad in 2006.

Skip to 5:10 on this video, and there is a couple of minutes related to it.

All your youtube links are to RT ( Russia Today ) which is Putin's state sponsored Propaganda machine.

As such their content comes directly from Putin, and is ( in my opinion ) worthless.

To be fair you can only have an opinion on it if you watch it. My view is the same now as when the conflict started which was well before the Russian intervention, and all this does is solidify it my opinion.

What you will find is that it is easier to tell the truth as in the Russian narrative on this, which I already share, rather than adopt the US spin, lies and blatant bullshit propaganda we have listened to for over a decade.

We don't hear about all the Syrian people the US has killed in thousands of bombing sorties but they will always put it on Assad’s credit note. Or the 90,000 Syrian troops killed trying to fight ISIS and the US, Saudi and Turkey backed rebel groups including Al Nusra affiliated to Al Qaeda.

I contest that strongly. Russia Today is Putin's highly crafted state sponsored propaganda outlet, and as such I have no desire to watch his indoctrination.

I am a little dismayed that the 2 most wellknown of his propaganda organisations - RT and globalresearch.ca are the 2 'sources' that have been linked on this thread.

However, what can be done? People believe what they want to believe, I'll merely just point out that RT and globalresearch are both well known propaganda media for the kremlin.

How about Mehdi Hassan ripping a new one on General Michael Flynn?

No RT influence on this but saying the same thing.
