Mostly because it brings memories of teenage angst flooding back (15 yr old MJsGhost's fumblings with the apple of his eye, mostly soundtracked by the Cranberries :))

RIP Delores and thanks for the memories!

Glen Hansard "Falling Slowly"

This song featured in the film "Once" which also starred the Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard.

I came across it again today after listening to Mahler's 5th symphony on Youtube. When Mahler finished the next random song/video which came up (for some reason) was Glen Hansard's "McCormack's Wall". I like the naturalised video which was shot in a Dublin pub...

Here are both vids...

Not the best recording, but this was what me and Mrs Earle saw and heard on honeymoon in 1980. Unforgettable (honeymoon and the gig:)).

The Tidal Streaming Service produces for you a daily mix based on what you've been listening to. Amongst my today's mix was a seven minute vocal and dub of Black Woman by Queen Ifrica. Youtube has each half as separate videos. Here's the fantastic second half dub section.
