THE BEST SONG I'VE HEARD ALL WEEK, LET ALONE TODAY!
The album was A Father's Day Gift (which I chose). Love it. But this track's a Corker. Shades of rock, rock and roll, rockabilly, glam, Joe Walsh, tough New York, Joe Strummer. Shedloads to enjoy for most of the contributors on this thread - and he's 73! Shows age don't matter when you've still got it.
Epic performance of All The Young Dudes at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, with Queen, David Bowie, Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson. It was written by Bowie and was a big hit for Mott The Hoople (who Bowie produced). It was especially poignant as Mick Ronson had just been told he had terminal Liver Cancer, but he insisted on performing as it was for his friend Freddie, he died 12 months later.
