What was your first ever AWAY game?

Oxford United away around 1990 I think

My first away game was at Highbury in February 1960. We were playing an FA cup replay against Rotherham and won 6-0.

2 trains broke down! I was in one of them!

We lost 3 -1 ! never saw the game.

My first game was in 1975(ish). Aldershot. 1-1 score
11,000 crowd inc 8,000 albion. We just missed out on promotion.

I was on one of those trains too - only the first one of the three got there.
My first away game was either Aldershot (did one side of the ground have no stands/terrace?) or Gillingham - can't remember!

B*gg*r Palarse - in 1964 this was the real rivalry!

Consulting the oracle our team that day (in ancient 2-3-5 format) was:

which was more or less the team that won the 64/5 Fourth Division Championship
