What was your first ever AWAY game?

Dandyman

In London village.
Being a total glory hunter, I think it was probably 18 March 1978. Away to Palace (nil-nil draw ?).

Would be 1991 play off final, but if Wembley doesnt count probably Peterborough in the FA cup some when, maybe our 1st year at Gillingham.

Cambridge away in around 1993/94 time. Think we lost 2-1 or 3-2 or something.

At half time they went in with a white ball on a green pitch and to start the second half they came out with an orange ball to play on a white pitch...was quite an experience. I think we scored a goal that was blatant handball.

1/1/1980 Bristol City away - drew 2-2.

Had a soft spot for City for years afterwards until they rudely refused to reply to my application for the Manager's job when they sacked Joe Jordan!

Charlton away or Fulham away in 1984. Whichever was first out of those two.

Won 1-0 at the clowns (O'Reilly 46 seconds), lost 2-0 at Fulham thanks to KENNY ACHAMPONG.

Lovely name, that.
