I agree Nibble I thought it was excellent. In my opinion even better than Casino Royale so I am dumbfounded as to the negative reviews.

Totally agree, critics know nothing though, that is why they are critics and not film makers.

voted for dark knight but still managed to fall asleep in an imax. none of those were amazing. quantum of faeces was utter tripe. i much preferred no country for old men and there will be blood, both of which i saw in 2008.

Quantum of Solace was my choice by the way.

Top Notch in my opinion, i never believe a critics review these days.

Didn't rate The Dark Knight much. enjoyable enough but Heath Ledgers hammy performance, Aaron Ekhardt as two face was shockingly ineffective and that nonsense with the mobile phone tracking was straight out of Joel Schumakers crap Batman films.

Again I agree. My review stated it was good but not the masterpiece I had heard about. I did think Ledger was superb tough. Overall I thought Batman Begins was a better film.

Dark Knight just beats Wall-E for me, the first Batman film I've actually liked. Indiana Jones was dreadful, QoS was nowhere near as good as Casino Royale. Iron Man is my surprise film of the year, I thought it would be rubbish but it turned out as a pretty decent film.

I did not think IJ 4 was dreadful by any stretch of the imagination. It was always onto a loser after IJ 1-3 and expectations could not be matched. In many ways it is a better film than Temple of Doom infact IT IS a betterfilm than Temple of Doom. It did not match Raiders or Last Crusdade but they were benchmark hollywood films imo.

IJ4 is fast with many actions scenes and a decent story much the same as IJ 1-3. The Alien thing was the paranoia of the late 50's as was the cold war with the Russian instead of the Nazi's of IJ 1 and 3. Infact they were not even aliens. The Crystal Skulls are a major unexplained pnenonemum.

I thought Harrison Ford was superb in IJ 4 and the back up cast were also decent enough. Overall on watching it a second time on dvd I thought, you know what, this is a decent action film and Ford is still Indiana Jones. Ok it is not a masterpiece but certainly better than a lot of people would have you believe.

Haven't seen many of these but i'm going to vote for Batman anyway; thought it was very good. 'Blockbusters' usually have too much cheese for me, but Batman was nice and dark.

Wanted, on the other hand, was FOCKIN DREADFUL. Really couldn't believe how bad it was.

I thought Indiana Jones was poor and switched it off (watched it on a plane) approx 30 mins in. But as i didn't watch it all, i can't really comment further. Maybe, just maybe, it proceeded to be one of the best films ever....

I haven't seen any of these films.

Best film I saw this year at the cinemabobs was Mon on Wire, but only because it was the only film I saw at the cinemabobs. It was only okay.

The Dark Knight - Sons and Husband raved about, yet to see
Indiana Jones 4 - Was really disappointed, seemed like a lot of old ideas cobbled together in one hash up.
Kung Fu Panda - Kids liked it
Iron Man - Special effects were great, thought the story was a bit slow
Mamma Mia - Stars singing Karaoke, really couldn't understand the hype
Quantum of Solace- Preferred this to Casino
Wall E - Loved the digs at the american culture (too fat to walk)
Narnia 2 - Preferred it to the original, more LOR -sy
Sex & the City - Wouldn't watch this if you tortured me
The Mummy 3 - Almost as big a disappointment as Indiana Jones but not quite
Madagascar 2 - Fun for the kids, the penguins rule!
Wanted - Ok waste of a couple of hours
Horton Hears a Who - Haven't seen
10000 BC - Actually quite liked this! Bit of 300, bit of king kong, enjoyable bits
The Incredible Hulk - The third disappointment for me!
High School musical 3 - see 'Sex in the Shitty' above

My personal favourite isn't on here! Hellboy 2 - how much did that take GG?
I like the Blade films, and some of the actors and director were brought in for Hellboy 2. Very Lord of the Rings-y but I like sci-fi films of this ilk. Great for the drunken hellboy rendition of 'Cant Smile Without You'!!!

The Dark Knight - FANTASTIC. Totally awesome inevery way.
Indiana Jones 4 - Started fun, but that ending was pants.
Kung Fu Panda - Loved it, not the best animated film ever, but very good.
Iron Man - A good fun blockbuster that doesn't try to be too deep or too clever.
Mamma Mia - Fun. Fun. Fun.
Quantum of Solace - Misleading. The film did not have the themes the trailers promised, it went from action set piece to action set piece. The action set pieces were good, and I'd still call the film good overall, but not a patch on Casino Royale.
Wall E - Not the masterpiece many reveiws painted it to be, but a cute film that tried something different for disney pixar, and I enjoyed it.
Narnia 2 - POC - Not seen. (Shouldn't it Be "PC" He was prince caspian, not prince of caspian?)
Sex & the City - Not seen.
The Mummy 3 - Not seen, but based on my love of the first 2 it is on my rental list
Madagascar 2 - M'eh
Wanted - Fun, dumb. I mean, how can you not enjoy a film where the weapon of the bad guy is a loom of doom?
Horton Hears a Who - Not seen
10000 BC - Dull, boring.
The Incredible Hulk - I enjoyed this, but it didn't click into the greatness it could have been
High School musical 3 - Not seen
Get Smart - Really enjoyed. I'm not Steve Carell's biggest fan, but I really liked his performance in this.
What happens in Vegas - Not seen. Have no intention to.
You dont mess with the Zohan - Not seen. Thought about it, but will likely add to my rental list.

Seen 2 of them, Kung Fu Panda was shite. Zohan was watchable cos of Adam Sandler.

Does James Bond not get on there?

Edit: I've just realised it does and has.
