Why not? Getting a well paid job can be reflection of how good you are at what you do; it's a personal achievement.
Mine would be when I got the a-levels I needed to get into my first choice in uni (after a summer of thinking I'd arsed up). I've done marathons and stuff, but having to re-sit my upper 6th would have been a life changer at the time.
Family related stuff - birth of kids and getting married (or divorced) doesn't count.

Painting a childrens ward and delivering some much needed medicines/medical essentials/syringes to a very remote and basic hospital in Malawi. The least selfish greatest moment. Others are up there, but entirely selfish.
Can you tell us the entirely selfish ones?
The moment when after a couple of months of intensive work with an 8 year old boy with downs syndrome, his parents came to me with the realization that he could at last communicate in sentences. The kick I got was immense, and I felt quite humbled at the gratitude they gave me for something that for most of us is mundane and rudimentary.
