Snorkelling with my wife in the Maldives on our 40th wedding anniversary .She died 3 months later, didn't know she was ill at the time. Sorry that was family orientated so have to be when I eventually got a finalist in the Sussex Cup after 25 years odd of owning dogs.

Starting my own Plumbing business in 2002 after years of earning other people money, I find the paperwork and arranging jobs a bit stressful at times but I would not want to go back to working for a company.

This--- only I started with my Dad in 1974 and now have my son working with me-----still to make any decent money---but I can knock off whenever I want to:drink:

Completing my ' World Cup '78 ' Panini album when the final Peruvian midfielder arrived on my doorstep after sending about £1.50 in stamps to fill an album of pics for approx. £38.95. Any offers?

Nice. eBay. I sold the 'holy grail' 1970 one for £1400 after euro wide bidding. it had been sitting unread in an old suitcase in my garage for a decade after my Mum bought it for peanuts

If thats the greatest moment of your life, I feel pretty sorry for you.

Why not? Getting a well paid job can be reflection of how good you are at what you do; it's a personal achievement.

Mine would be when I got the a-levels I needed to get into my first choice in uni (after a summer of thinking I'd arsed up). I've done marathons and stuff, but having to re-sit my upper 6th would have been a life changer at the time.

When my Grandfather bought me my first road motorbike at 16 years old, i booed like a baby.

Followed by the day i and my 2 year olds son sat on my grandfathers record breaking Norton, 80 years after he had ridden it.

Firstly it would have to be winning my first race in Stock Rods, in a car i had built, and to have my hand shaken and a well done from one of the great oval racers, George Polley (i do know him personally anyway) and Doing the london to brighton for the first time, and cycling up Ditchling, had tears in my eyes riding down to the seafront

Daughter opening her eyes in hospital after contracting meningitis aged 9 months (and going on to make a full recovery). Will never be able to thank the NHS and the Royal Alex enough.

:wozza:

I had a complete 1970 stickers album in the loft and my mum chucked it out

For me, it was probably becoming the cross country champion runner for my school year. I'd much of my early childhood ill and had such a bad chest, the doctors wanted to send me away to school/sanatorium as it seemed I couldn't cope. At 9, we moved to Moulsecoomb and benefited from the fresher air. Later that year, I took part in games and PE for the first time and when I was 11, I won my first cross country race (and won several more). It was something I would never have dreamed of when I was 7
