Monday 8pm, so both sets of fans can get over excited before the game, as the QF draw has the winners at home to Preston
Sundays? When there’s always engineering works and rail replacement buses? Ideal.12 on sunday is the best time for most fans isn't it?
Travel up on Saturday, saturday evening in Newcastle, then match on sunday will be finished by 3 at the latest even with penalties giving everyone the opportunity to get home on Sunday.
I've never been to Newcastle so this might be absolute bollocks![]()
Reminds me of last season where the draw for the quarter finals was made before our match at Wolves. The winner was drawn at home to Coventry. We dodged a bullet by losing to Wolves!!Monday 8pm, so both sets of fans can get over excited before the game, as the QF draw has the winners at home to Preston
I refer you to my final sentence.Sundays? When there’s always engineering works and rail replacement buses? Ideal.
All matches are supposed to be on Sat/Sun, so probably notMonday night, nailed on.
A decision you will not regret my friend - it is the absolute bollocks, fanny and tits!12 on sunday is the best time for most fans isn't it?

Yep, it's ridiculous.Never mind what arse time and date the kick off will be! Isn't it seriously time the football authorities insisted that away fans weren't tucked up in that top corner where you need oxygen and can almost see Hadrian's Wall? It's a piss take that all the other clubs comply and Newcastle have side stepped it for too long. Now just maybe originally there were genuine problems but they've had plenty of time to sort out and it's not like they don't have cash to spend.
Yeah, I have a nephew in Newcastle so I could have a place to kip if wanted, but I'm never going to that ground until they shift away allocation - it's a ridiculous place to try to watch football.Never mind what arse time and date the kick off will be! If those timings are correct I would expect the Palace Millwall and Preston Burnley games to be 1200 kickoffs. A 2pm or 3pm Sunday kickoff would be the best we could hope for by the looks of it (although it's not listed as an option), with 5:30 on Sunday the next best. Not great whatever way you look at it.
