On neighbours my downstairs neighbours are a lovely young family, very friendly basically good people.

My upstairs neighbour is a girl who seems to be a bit of a f**k up, she can be noisy, often arguing with her boyfriend, most common of all seems to be coming in drunk or drugged up and falling over so spectacularly it sounds like she is coming through the ceiling. All that being said I am a deep sleeper and her antics rarely bother me, only the other day the downstairs neighbours left a note complaining about the noise she had made the previous night, I heard nothing and slept like a log.

Luckily they are both very quiet which is great, though one side appear to be spongers and the fella even has his own place in Lancing apparently. Both rented so you never know what you are going to get.

We are very lucky, live in central Brighton flats but all the neighbours are elderly, they win 'Brighton in Bloom' flower awards, make and give us Jams, Elderflower cordials, fruit they have picked, take in packages, lend us tools and spare parts when needed.

In return they just appreciate the odd crossword answer thet cannot get often cricket, football or cycling related.

However some of the other blocks have had some demons.

We have a knitwear designer and a Lecturer in fashion (not the absurd) at some London College on one side. And a very officious but quite pleasant lady who works at the council on the other. Also a high ranking copper diagonally opposite. All most pleasant.

My first thoughts when I read that article was that she appears to be a normal looking nice girl and knowing the residents of falcon Court as I do, the story has been blown out of proportion!

nice family one side, other side contains trash starting with "disabled" mother been married 3 times, current husband on the "sick". She's had 6 kids, only 1 with the current husband and this ones "disabled" allegedly!!!! The eldest 5 kids are all 20+, the eldest is divorced with a 5yr old who the ex has custody off, though she does work, 2nd eldest just got a job and is an unmarried mother of a monster who her parents "look after" while she lives with a dealer, next 2 girls are both unmarried,1 has a kid with 1 on the way and the next has a pre-school kid and lives in a rented flat with her ex who she has a restraining order against and the son has just become a dad this week to a girl he saw for all of 2 weeks!
