In fact its bound to be a main target seat for the cons and labour.
But congrats to Lucas, the greens almost have as many enclaves as the BNP have, Westminster and EU combined.

Caroline Lucas won with about an 8% swing and and increased share of the vote of about 7% of a 70% turnout. Thats not an overall majority, its not a safe seat either.
Most of that swing came from Labour, a swing back to labour half as big would oust Lucas, any Libdems defecting could go to Labour.
You are talking 600ish votes here, for the tories to overtake Lucas would require a bigger drop of 4,000.
Exactly how many students are there at the 2 universities? 50,000 combined? If 80% Live outside the constiuency and student voting patterns are skewed towards Labour and the greens it really wouldn't take much to dump the Watermelon out on her arse.
The simple facts are that the Labour vote will recover taking votes off the Greens and let the Tories WIN at the next General Election

You evidently didn't look at the proposed map of the new constituency which, as Is adi earlier, is solidly Green at present. You're not comparing like with like.
What is this point about a 'swing back to Labour?' Where is that going to come from? If the Greens have their own solid vote, and it's growing - why should they 'swing back to Labour'? Yes, any LibDem could go defecting to Labour. They could also go defecting to the Tories. Or the Greens, which has been happening.
Also, perhaps you missed the point about the student vote. One there's about 25,000 students at the universities - two you're assuming they've all reigstered to vote and three - you still don't know which way they're voting. Typecasting them as Labour or Green voters without any evidence doesn't help your argument.
you make claims for evidence but provide little yourself. Libdem voters are distributed/leaning 60% labour, 30% tory, 10 other. That was in a article in the economist.
As for students I have no data but I'm pretty Damn sure a former poly would be skewed towards labour. As for the "Growing" green vote what are the causes and limits of this?
you seems to sustain your argument on Rhetoric and wishful thinking. There has been an influx of Boho types into parts of Brighton that is true but have they reached their zenith?
The Argus specifically requested a quiz for MPs from an Albion blogger?
Gibberish.
Utter nonsense. There are good MPs and bad MPs, there are some very prinicipled MPs and there are career MPs.She is no better or no worse than the rest. They are all in it for themselves regardless of what party they represent.

What on earth makes you come out with bland whitewashing drivel like that?
Oh I see. You're not prepared to back what seems to be a very lazy opinion with evidence.Because I can. Have a good day old chum.
let me do it for him: Look I'm promoting your blog HBB !!!!!!!!!!!!
