Agreed. Davies & Robinson are no better than bottom 8 league 2 standard.
How low we have dropped if there are still other posters who think that these 2 are our saviours & future. Get rid of both asap, please!

Davies was Oldham's leading scorer last year and got 6 in 13 on loan at Stockport this season which would suggest you are talking crap. However, it is far better for fans to slam a player, make his confidence worst and ruin his time at the club than want him to succeed and hope he comes good.

Wise words EL Pres but the Davies attention seeking after the game really winds me up.

You are becoming a real pain. Almost the person who moans the most on here and there is some competition. If Davies just ran off after the game, no doubt you would be slagging him off for not acknowledging the fans. Poor guy can't win.

Davies has shown me enough with his displays to suggest he is a good player. His work-rate, pace and skill around the box have all been good. Yes he has missed some great chances, but that is clearly down to confidence and a desperation to score. I have been as frustrated as anyone else with his misses, but if we let him get on with it I'm sure he will do well, especially if we find ourselves in the Fourth Division next season.

Anyone that has played football on this forum will tell you that when things aren't going well and people start slagging you off, your confidence takes a hammering, and this leads to a desperation to do better and nervousness. To be fair to Davies after his slating at MK Dons it sounds like he played a blinder at Hereford, which shows he has character and a will to succeed at the club.

I so hope Davies makes some people eat their words even this or next season. He has been used as a massive scapegoat in the last few defeats.

No he just has a different opinion to you. But no doubt your superfan status makes your opinion more valid.

I am responding to a thread about Craig Davies. My gripe was mainly his ridiculius " look at me " applauding stunts at the end of the games.

I am not the one who goes on and on about how loyal they are and yet never seems to go these days. You have been on about your loyalty for years and have now just become extremely boring, criticising certain players and Russell Slade relentlessly when you have no idea what is happening. Clubs do not need supporters like that in my opinion.

Know what you are saying, but sadly we need all the supporters we can get now and especially next season. Just wish the negativity could be kept to a minimum.

Anyone else notice our much maligned Craig stay out at the final whistle to applaude supporters in every home section of the ground whilst many of our other 'bleed blue and white' heroes ran for the dressing room? He was unlucky not to score again yesterday and played his heart out yet there were still people slagging him off. Sometimes I wonder if I'm from the same planet as a lot of Brighton fans these days. Some of the crap that goes on in the stands (including the witch hunt that got a few harmless Swindon fans ejected from the South Stand) and on here is actually more depressing than the on field antics this season, and that's saying something.

Well done Craig, I hope you start getting the goals your effort and passion deserves soon.

And if his shooting boots ever start to work we have next seasons top scorer.

He can clap the fans all he likes but the correct response after a performance like that is complete indifference. He was rubbish. The arse kissing is just as stupid as the wanky scapegoating by the likes of Withdean Wanderer.

When he does finally score he confidence will shot up. But at the moment he is down on his luck and he really needs a piece of it. Davies tried hard yesterday, but never really threatened infront of goal, apart from one volley what went agnosingly wide in the second half.

Sense at last. Just because I do not rate Davies so far and find his ridiculous one man clapping sessions highly dubious according to some I am not wanted at the club after 37 years and 11 years at Withdean. Well f*** YOU.
