Need to get a train back to London at 10.20 (from main station)...is this enough time to get from ground to Falmer - Brighton. I'v been told it can be a bit of a nightmare. cheers

10.20 might be a bit tight. Would probably leave a little bit early for that.

I get that 10.20 train back to London every evening game. Never missed it so far, and I never leave early. Go and stand by the exit when the board goes up, and the second the final whistle goes, leave and jog to Falmer station. You'll be back at Brighton station by 10pm.

Have Palace given you 6,000 tickets with the option to buy more ? They have the seats you know !

Palace sent an extra 500 tickets up to Yorkshire and they expect to have sold in the region of 2,200 tickets with the remainder (300) sent back to Smellhurst as POTD. I believe many Wednesday fans living down in London and the south chose not to apply for the priority allocation as they will be going in the home ends.

Why is that football fans are so incapable of showing appreciation for any other team . So by your post I am assuming that our form is of no concern to you what so ever. Unless we go to Wimbledon reserves tomorrow and get absolutely hammered, I imagine we will still be in good form when we get to you.

I remember ranting and raving about your form when you got promoted the other year and every Brighton fan I spoke to, to a man, was more than happy to congratulate themselves on their success and admire the revolution under My Poyet. "New manager, new team, new ground" etc etc etc.

Interestingly at no point did I ever mention anything about promotion/playoffs or even finishing in the top half of the table. That's something you have decided yourself based on the opinion of your best man apparently.

Well said.

That's because all of life, like any other forum, is here. As you can see, we have to put up with our fair share of numbskulls & shitheads in addition to the reasonable posters.

Based on that performance, you have nothing to fear in a few weeks. Perhaps the bubble has burst. Or maybe we'll put 5 past you. This the championship after all where everyone seems to be as bad as each other

You'll be glad to hear that fans appear to have a shared revulsion to Selhurst Park. So much so that within 5 minutes one of them tried to climb out.

Strangely, taking into account the sometimes over zealous attitude of stewards up and down the country..this rather drunk fellow was left up there for the entire 1st half, until he made his own way down to get a drink at half time.

They couldn't forcibly get him down, he was arrested at the final whistle though.

I really despise Selhurst Park, awful stadium and the 'Holmesdale fanatics' make me want to self harm.

Oh god that fat kid at the front in the white T shirt and sunglasses...clearly has been watching too many Youtube videos of Turkish and Eastern European hooligans....stood at the front of the stand with his back to the game for the entire duration, moronically starting chants and clamping his hands like he had just learnt how...at one stage I actually saw him threaten to hit one of the 16 y/o black bomber jacket crew because he wasn't singing! Desperate

Thank god its not just us that feel that way.

Sorry to say in relation to the game next week I cannot see anyway we will let 5 goals in in fact we are flying at the moment (yes I know famous last words) but its a great time to be an Albion supporter and we still have Buckley and Vicente to come back plus our new signings. CMS hat trick hopefully.

Have I missed something glaringly obvious, what's with all the chuckles about Wednesday?

I don't find them particularly humorous... unlike Palace or Portsmouth.

This is exactly what it was like for our game at theirs last season.

Fake forza italia support with goal music, and a half time bird show : facepalm:

Hope you enjoy next Friday but not too much.

Hi Mongrel, just to let you know, I love Hillsborough, one of the best away grounds to go to, a real sense of history and atmos, it must be great there now you are flying (except saturday)
A few things, noticed you have not responded to the laughing, you seem like a decent chap, I hope you realise its in response to some of the deadheads on your forum and not directly at you, but you probably saw it.
Shame its on Friday night, but this will mean that a lot will stay over, now you are doing well what is the away support like when full of ale. I have a lot of time for proper Wednesday fans, but have any idiots crawled out the woodwork that may cause trouble in/out the ground. Especially as they may be drinking all day.
