Coordinated effort in Europe to supply Ukraine with what it needs & to coordinate our own militaries & to rearm & increase nuclear capabilities to be able to defend ourselves from Russian & American aggression
Let’s start at home and get our military spending back where it should be. Shift towards Europe. Get our house in order

This needs doing. But there's a war going on. And half of the weaponry and ammunition has just been withdrawn from the Ukrainian side. If there's a 'peace deal', Putin is hardly going to respect it. The only question is whether he needs time to regroup. He's not going to stop at Ukraine.

Unfortunately most of Europes weapons are bought from the Americans.
If Trump decides that Europe are restricted from buying them then we won't have the strength to fight Russia without the US backing us.

What about lots of US troops in Ukraine to defend their new rare earth metal mining interests?

Everyone thinks Trump has capitulated to Putin but maybe he is about to outmaneuver him

(And let me reiterate that I disapprove of Trump in much the same way I disapprove of wantonly deposited dog shit).

Europe obviously has to come up with its own deterrent and that leans very much on the French for a nuclear deterrent.

Naturally, we are all Team Zelensky. I just hope the American people realise what an error their leader is making. Zelensky tried to warn him. If he doesn’t help stop Putin now then the USA will feel the pain later. Maybe not tomorrow, but in a few years time.

It's not uncommon to step on a Trump whilst walking through a park.

This does rather assume Trump is playing a clever strategic game and isn’t, in fact, a moron.

Indeed. A case of Occam's razor.

If you have two competing ideas to explain the same phenomenon, you should prefer the simpler one.

He reminds me of a colleague of nearly 40 years standing.

Successful professor
Directorships.
Former president of my research society.
From Eastbourne.

Another colleague describes him thus.

"His mind is entirely free from intellectual restraint.
He comes up with ideas like a man waving a shotgun,
who fires repeatedly into the air until he hits a bird
then says 'see, I was right'."

I read/saw this morning that a 0.2% increase in defense budgets across Europe would replace the US military contribution.
Of course, it requires time and not only money.

Massive European military coordination needed immediately
European troops inside Ukraine soon to come
Huge ramping up of weaponry to go straight to Ukraine

Isolate Farage, Reform, GB News and all that lot who are dong the fascist Putin's work for him in the UK
That’s what they want but it’s not what we want. Why would we want war? Madness.

I’m more than certain that two of our Vanguard Class SSBN’s entire payload’s of 32 ICBM’s with all the warheads attached to the pointy ends would obliterate most of Russia, we don’t have to lean to hard on the French 🇫🇷 😉
