I can't believe a lot of the posts on here.
If the argument against Pompey fans is that they didn't protest when the times were good, then we'd better hope that things don't go wrong for us in the near future or these comments will come back to bite us.
Of course Pompey fans supported their team when they were being successful; what were they supposed to do? The campaigns against Archer and Belotti were completely different because we were terrible ON the pitch. Do you really think the protests would have been significant if we'd been winning the FA Cup? I doubt it.
I also hate (in general) the labelling of all fans of a club as if they're the same. Sure there are some nasty Pompey fans, maybe more than some other clubs, but the vast majority will be decent fans. Tarring them all with the same brush is the same as tarring all Brighton fans with some of the more imbecilic comments made on here.
