I'll applaud the train driver that takes the so called GFITW home.

I would rather heartily clap Palace next time they visit the Amex.

I know some of our fans don't like us applauding the away fans when attendances are read out. I do. I like that we acknowledge the effort and money spent by them to come down to our stadium and support their team, hopefully making a great atmosphere and behaving themselves when mingling with the home fans. We usually also applaud our own fans for the efforts and money spent by them to come to games too, so whether they walked from lucraft road, made the trek from middlesbrough, or hopped on a train at portsmouth, I'm ok with applauding.

However, if they misbehave, if they are disrespectful (such as the banner from ipswich fans or tasteless chants towards a particular player (be they racist, homophobic, relate to legal troubles, or are simply misdirected vitriol)) then I won't and don't expect the majority to applaud opposition fans.

If portsmouth behave themselves, and concentrate on supporting their team, I imagine I will applaud them when attendances are read out.

Can't disagree with this.

You have to say it quietly on here but I actually agree with you.

That's a load of bollox, there were a lot of Palace fans who marched with BHA fans when you lost the Gallstone and only a few idiots would want you to have folded.

Totally different scenarios, we protested for years against Archer because we could see the club was being run into the ground, Portsmouth fans lapped up every bit of success (FA Cup), European football, Premiership and only now when the whole Empire built on sand has collapsed are they taking any notice.

They had their cake, they ate it including the cherry on top and now the cake turned out to be rotten.

I see a few brighton fans stuffing cake at the moment,WELL WHO WOULDN'T?

The Rev starts a stupid thread and everyone gets all excited. I bet he's soiling his panties as we speak.

Beat me to it. Stupid thread and Rev. Although I think you meant creaming his pants rather than soiling them.
