I hope nobody is going to suggest that the lady who sits by the gents toilet in the East Stand Brasserie after games reading a kindle is superfluous!

1:cut the amount of stewards it takes to show me where to park if ever I go down the Amex in the week to go to the club shop etc.Do any other clubs actually have stewards working on a non match day?

I've never noticed an excess of stewards on non match days! Theres the man at the gate and on occassion there have been one or two but that only seems to have been when they have had an event on at the stadium, ie conference or similar.

Yes there are some savings to be made on reducing the number of stewards, but in my humble opinion the biggest gain to be made is to employ staff on the concourses who are incentivised to serve faster. Basically 90% of them are f***ing useless. It's not an exaggeration to sometimes get to the front of the queue and wait 5-10 minutes to get a few pre-poured pints and some ready boxed pies.
I honestly believe the club could double match day food and beverage sales with staff on commission based earnings.

Funny you should mention this as I park in Car park 5 disabled area and said to my dad that I've never ever seen so many stewards in my life and 90% are doing literally nothing. I was meant to count how many there are but shall tomorrow and might even film it and post it up on here.

I was stopped by 5 stewards at the entrance to the university to tell me I've got to park in Car park 5 which is the first entrance on the left ( My priority match day parking ticket is displayed in my windscreen) as I approach it I'm stopped by another 5 to see where I'm going even thou they watched the stewards just a minute ago point to car park 5. Then theres an army of them on route to the exit.

Thats just for the building work at the moment. Obviously once thats done a couple will remain at the entrance but thats all.

You mean our current top scorer ? Some "big white elephant" he is
Every club in the league has a top scorer,it does not mean they are any good

Stop the travel tickets being included and make sure the revenue is collected by the companies themselves

Agreed, they should leave it to Southern Railway and the bus companies to be responsible for collecting their own revenue.

Why should everyone have to pay to travel, not like you have to pay at other grounds

The office staff could cut all post-it notes in half.
Double the usage, half the outlay.

Get rid of those expensive (£500k wages) footballers and replace them with nurses (£19.7k wages).

no one has seen these reports yet so i wish people would stop this theorizing bollocks. CMS great player who we don't know what he earns, Barber is doing a good job and our reputation is on the rise, and brighton and hove albion provide a good bulk of employment for the local area so don't be stupid and suggest get rid of them because if we are hiring them we can afford them and get keep somebody employed. Someone said something stupid about Vicente im sure, we don't know what he earns but when he plays he plays damn well, improves our other players in training, he raises our profile and i know lots of people who follow our club as a second team because of his name and the signings since.

im not a steward im just not close minded like most people are nowadays who forget about the struggles of other people. People don't always think and understand what it would be like to face the prospect of losing their own job and what it would mean for them and their family.

Maybe reduce the size of the travel zone too (either have Hove for the west instead of Shoreham or exclude the Seaford line). Would mean the money paid to Southern would be reduced.

The binfest on here if that were to happen though would be pretty big.

Paying people to stand around just to boost local employment is on a par with the argument that dropping litter creates cleaning jobs.

Out of interest then why do the club charge us £30 in our season tickets for travel via Trains and buses? Honest answers please.

Here, there and everywhere
Er have more 'community' events at the Amex.

And serve decent hot food (like pies) when it's a freezing cold evening, with the heating switched off in the concourses, waiting for the night sky to get dark - rather than cold muffins.
