Ha! That’s being kind tbh. It’s a complete joke of an answer. Slagging off someone’s character and professionalism as a truism and then saying, “I read it on NSC” is an interesting defence.
For what it is worth, I heard exactly the opposite from well-placed sources I trust. Plus other comments about the sudden departure of the entire medical team. But I would never repeat them on here unless I was 100% confident I could back them up.

Ok, this article is very good regarding decision making. That's not really a satisfactory answer, but OK

This.Haven't read all of this thread, because it's just some ones personal preference for and against, but...
If we'd just hooved the ball up field there would be less mistakes, right? This could lead to the ball going back to the opposition and them attacking. So high risk, high reward football can open up spaces for us to attack. This season, there has been an unprecedented amount of mistakes from outfield players which have led to goals, more so than keeper error. Law of averages then show you'll ship more goals when you're left exposed and it doesn't matter which keeper is between the sticks.
Big Bob didn't want to play the rotational game, so sat in the corner and sulked. This system doesn't suit all players, but this constant harping on after a run of bad form about former players who didn't want to play for us anymore gets my back up
Yep, that's why I thought RDZ did it. However whilst that style of play was amazing for a brief period, it's largely been found out and we don't do it that much anymore. Steele is going long or chipping wide with little through the middle. His kicking has become pretty poor of late. Bart just gives me kittens every time he plays straight out from the back, three times he went direct through the middle today, twice intercepted, once almost.
A keeper who is great at saving shots and has that footwork, yes please, sign me up. Aren't many outside the top couple of clubs. Lacking that, give me an Emi Martinez any day.
I read that he was talking about brief period when Steele got away with not being so good at the goal keeping side of his position. This was from about March to May then first 4-5 weeks of this season.Brief period? The best part of 12 months up to Sept 23.
I’d love to see where you’re getting your stats from. It’s none of the main football stats websites I look at.The stats show Steele higher in the table than Bart not by much but statistically steels been the better
I believe it was Winston Churchill who said “The only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself”
People pick and choose what’s happening at Chelsea to suit their agenda at any one time.Already warming the bench at Chelsea isn’t he ? With his mate as goalkeeper coach

One minute they are a joke club who wouldn’t know their arse from their elbow with a clueless approach to recruitment; then the next they are a great judge of ability?
Besides, if the choice is warming the bench at Brighton or warming the bench at Chelsea on x3 the salary plus 10% of a signing on fee, it’s a pretty straightforward decision.
Not really - just making the point he left here because he didn’t want to be sat on the bench. And now he’s sat on the bench within half a season at a club 11th in the PL.People pick and choose what’s happening at Chelsea to suit their agenda at any one time.

We're not talking about that, we're talking about the decision to drop and not recall which led inexorably to his departure
…..…and challenged by some who equally might be rightIt was posted on here by people known to be right.
Ramsdale made a horrendous error Saturday that led directly to a goal, then pulled off a couple of worldies. In isolation they can mean a lot or they can mean very little.Off the top of my head I can think of three absolutely horrendous errors Sanchez made last season that all lead directly to goals.
Neither Steele or Verbruggen have that many this season.
He wasn’t good enough for us, he’s clearly not good enough for Chelsea plus he’s got a terrible attitude. Good riddance.
