Want to vote Lib Dem but won't

This is the real question I need to resolve.

I would vote LibDem on their current performance, but can I forgive Baker etc.?

My local LD candidate is Elgood, who was allegedly openly pro-stadium. But was this just words? Equally, is it fair he should carry the can for the actions of Baker and his dinner party cronies?
Elgood was for the Stadium as were most of, if not all the Lib Dems councillors/activists in Brighton & Hove and was at the pro stadium demos at the Labour & Lib Dem conferences. Everyone seems to forget the 2 Tories who with the 4 Lib Dems on LDC cabinet voted unaminously against Falmer. Lekewise the would be Tory councillors in Woodingdean who were deselected by the Tories for being pro-Falmer...

It is not the fact that they opposed the stadium I am sure some Lab and Cons did too, the stadium itself is not the truly big issue because after all we won in the end. It was how LDC acted that matters (the use of council tax money, the endless appeals, the locking of the doors, the legal threats over the photograph etc.)

This is how I feel. It was not just LDC but also Baker who obstructed our progress. Tricks such as him rushing to the press about a planning consultants view that the Stadium would not be viable without a hotel.
I know many think Baker is a good constituency MP but after the deadweight Tories who represented Lewes for a century or more anyone would look good.
In addition as a resident of the Lewes constituency I find it difficult to see any real improvement that the Lib Dems have made in Seaford or Newhaven. I'm not talking about the Incinerator or Sewage Farm as I know these have been East Sussex CC decisions. Newhaven is more run down than ever and Seaford has received no significant improvement in it's infrastructure for decades.
I just do not feel that the Lib Dems have the skills to manage affairs with diligence or efficiency at either local or national level. Add to that LDC and Baker's spiteful opposition to Falmer. I'm not voting for them.
