Well we have just signed Ajax's captain, and he is a very good player.

We have Arshavin from the start of the season who is obvious class act. We are a quality holding midfielder short of being potential champions.

Why would their fans be worried. Even without Ronaldo and no new signings they are still a miles better team than arsenal and liverpool. Ronaldo leaving just leaves the door open for Rooney to take the main attacking role. It is nothing to do with his age, more to do with him being unable to stay regular fit now for years.

I mean I am perhaps being premature, and they are lining up a new striker with Owen just being back up. But if he is big in Sir Alex's plans, they can think twice about regaining their title
