throws shirt into away end at end of match and waves bye bye

It certainly looked like it. We were discussing this on the way home and I would say that from what we saw, it is very probable he is off. The window opens on the 1st Jan and we don't play again until the 2nd Jan. Sounds like the deal has already been agreed.

Virgo

Sorry if this has been mentioned, had a quick look and couldn't see anything but does anyone read anything into him throwing his shirt into the crowd at the end? Both me and the lads sitting next to me thought it is his last game. Could he off? Wouldn't be the end of the world, with el-abd playing so well.

Yes It is fixtures mate however you are correct. With a reaction like that he can only be off in January

Or maybe cos he can play well in a number of positions, are young, have a good attitude and was highly considered as being a very good prospect, then spending that kind of money is a reasonable punt. Celtic at the time weren't desperately short of cash and 1.5 million on good prospect wasn't a massive fortune for them.

Pity you couldn't figure that out, but obviously as you have trouble doing alot of basic things such as standing up.. Its not overly surprising.

No mate you are absolutely right, Celtic buying Adam Virgo, who was not even the Albion's best defender at the time was a totally regular transfer. You know Celtic may have wanted him to play up front if Laarson was injured, you know, Celtic would sure to have wanted a defender not even the best defender at er Brighton but who they could stick up front !I'm also sure there is the tooth fairy, Santa does exist and George Graham was totally innocent as well, or mate you moight want to take off your blue and white tinted glasses and look at it objectively. It smells that transfer, or possibly someone made the most crass footballing error at Celtic. £1.5 Million for Virgo, what ext, £2 Million for Cox!?.

i scrolled down the first page and nothing looked like it might contain this. If there is a thread, that was on the first page when I looked, it has a silly name and therefore mine is better. So f*** off.

So what you are saying is that clubs never take punts on highly regarded young players who can play in a variety of positions? Cos I think you'll find that ain't correct.. Still why bother letting that get in the way of a good conspiracy theory founded on basically nothing.
