The problem with Tan is he's walked into a culture he doesn't understand.

Although I tend to agree that vt has handled things poorly, I did listen to an interesting piece on radio 5 earlier that collated some of the language used to describe his actions.

A typical example was him requesting a meeting with the CEO and Mackay. The press report of this was 'controversial foreign owner demands showdown talks'.

In any other walk of life a company owner requesting a meeting with senior management is just normal, every day business, it does seem that our press have mobilised their usual trick of playing on softly delivered mild racist stereotypes to sensationalise the situation.

The same thing happened with Atkins at Southampton until Pochetinno started getting better results with the same squad.

Not saying he is not indifferent to the reasonable views of the Cardiff fan base but he did clear a debt mountain left by the ex-Leeds chairman (who is salt of the earth British and yet nearly bankrupted 2 historic clubs) and finance the push to the premiere league.
