He’s just made it 5-1
£85 million spent though. Like Leeds, it could end in tears.
I’d remove West Ham from that list.
I watched them at The Emirates, they played Arsenal off the park, somehow losing. Antonio, Bowen, Soucek, Ogbanna and Balbuena I think are exceptional.
Interesting that you’ve excluded Leeds and Villa. I can see arguments why.
How they are spending so much on wages and transfer fees in the current situation, does make me wonder.
Agree, neither West ham or stains should be on the list.
It's going to be another squeeky bum season because we know nothing happens in the next 24 hours.

What they are paying in terms of salaries to the new signings is phenomenal .
I hadn’t realised the FFP was suspended during the pandemic, read it in someone’s post earlier. If that is the case what happens when FFP comes back? As I can’t see how some of these clubs will be able to cover the enormous wage bills and stay within the rules. Or am I being crazily naive?

I missed Barkley going to Villa on loan.
They seem to have recruited pretty well this Sunmer after the shitsbow last year, which is annoying.
Agree, I think they have added themselves to the clubs we are unlikely to finish above.
In my opinion the mini league is:
Newcastle
West Ham
Southampton
Palace
Albion
WBA
Burnley
Sheff Utd
Fulham
When you consider that 3 of those teams (Sheff Utd, Southampton and Burnley) finished more than 10 points ahead of us last season, it makes this season's task seem more difficult than last year.
I’d take West Ham and Saints out of that (unless Ings gets injured). So 3 from 7. Fortunately Fulham and West Brom look sh**house. But the third spot worries me, especially with how thin our squad looks for a condensed season.

With the Blades denied THAT GOAL at Villa Park.
Summer 2020 would’ve been opportune for Villa and West Ham to drop, because once they survived, they weren’t going to allow a repeat of that near miss.
Too early to take them out. The beginning of the season is always erratic. We’ll have a much better idea after 10 games.
