The move that led up to it was worthy of the reaction like that. I just did something similar to Gus, watching it on player, and I already knew it hadn't gone in.
Vicente must stop being attracted to the crossbar.

The stories of Vicente's wife being pregnant and wanting to move back to Spain, may, though, be significant.

All his wife wants is to have the baby in Valencia surrounded by her family and not alone in Brighton. I haven't heard anything about her wanting to come back to Valencia right now permanently. She will be flying back home in 10 days (you can't fly being pregnant over 7 months) and Vicente will join her as soon as the Championship ends. The baby will be born around mid June and they would have been here on holidays anyway at that time.

I don't see Vicente moving that often. He's not that kind of person as you can imagine having spent his whole life in his hometown. The only reason I can think for him leaving Brighton is that he wasn't comfortable living in Brighton or having bad relationship with the club staff or teammates. If he's settled and happy in Brighton it's not easy that he decide to move again.

Thanks, I hope you are right, myself and 20,000 others would be gutted if he moved on, without doubt the greatest player ever to play for our club IMHO.

Well observed. He's a considered man and I hope we've made him feel loved in this next state of his career.

That sounds very positive. A lot of the players have very young babies or expecting babies right now including Calderon's lady which may help his wife settle back here after the birth.
