Fingers crossed, along with everything else we can possibly cross for you, that they indeed have got it early.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I really struggle to calmly portray earnest care in the throwaway words of my online typing, but i do honestly hope there's a speedy remedy here and that everything goes to plan with this.

I remember my mum telling me she had cancer a few years ago in such a matter-of-fact way that was strange and coherent and obliquely soap opera-ish. She got better, though, beating cancer twice now. Clear for a good few years now.

I cant say much more than has been said. Best wishes to Rusco and his family, My thoughts are with you and I hope for a speedy recovery.

Best wishes for a full recovery for your wife Rusco. I don't know you (at least I don't believe I do) but take comfort in the fact that my partner suffered from the same illness in her mid 20's and after treatment she is still here a long, long time later.

All

Thought I'd give you an update on Mrs Rusco, as we today received the best news possible. She had her operation over 3 weeks ago now and the Path lab assessed all the bits and bobs they took out and everything has shown as being all clear.

I can honestly say that this is one of the happiest moments of my life and as I'm out with some of the boys in Worthing tonight, I'm sure a few celebratory drinks will be passing my lips.

I'm also thinking of putting a few quid on the lottery tonight

Rusco

Brilliant news Rusco! A damn fine reason for you to be out celebrating indeed! A big well done to your wife especially, but you all as a family for going through the trauma and coming out the other side, its not easy..

I would do CJD, but she's recovering at her sisters in Weston Super Mare for a couple of weeks. I'm off up there next weekend

Marvellous news to end the week on a high. A big well done to Mrs Rusco and a fine excuse to get well and truly plastered...

With restraint, of course... :drink: :drink: :drink:
