This all seems to be a bit of a clusterfuck with reports suggesting Sevilla want rid ASAP to free up a non-EU slot to bring in another player, but we're not keen on taking him back unless we're shunting him straight out somewhere else.

So he's still training in Seville, but won't feature in any games.

I know that's mentioned at the end of article you posted but AFAIK Sevilla only have two non-EU players (Marcao and Barco) so they can buy and register Juninho (Brazilian striker from Qarabag they are targetting) even with Barco still in squad. So I think real reason they want to offload Barco is to free up his wages.

Very poor from us. He’s gaining nothing there at all and he’s a teenager, miles from home, that we are responsible for.

I didn't know anything about this until about three minutes ago, so what I'm about to say may be completely wrong, but it seems a La Liga squad can have up to five non-EU players and they already have...

Marcao
Barco
Sow
Ejuke
Iheanacho

No, there are three non-EU spots but players from most African countries don't count as non-EU because of the Cotonou Agreement.

Not sure that the player is doing himself any favours here.
Seems to think of himself as some kind of celebrity via his IG. Needs to knuckle down and get on with things as I doubt we want him back mid season.

You’d think there’d be room in the squad for him with Igor and Ferdi out.

If he thinks he’s too good to be in our squad, it does beg the question why did he sign for us?

I'm not going to try and find it now, but I did read that it sounded like the penny had dropped, and he realised he has to put the work in, and had recruited a specialist fitness and conditioning guru to work with him.

Get him back for Norwich! Was suprised to see him go, he was one of our best players pre season and seemed to really fit Hurzelers style of play. His set piece deliveries were awesome too. Can definitely see him being a defensive liability but he also really suprised me in that department agains Vilareal, he can do a half decent job.

This is from October where he started working with Francisco Silva who is a strength and conditioning coach.

There were posts on his instagram not long after he’d joined us of both him and Enciso working with a PT as well so it’s definitely a training method he goes to.

Wait, what? Are you talking about Kadioglu and Hinshelwod? Has there been a negative update on them both?
I would think he means Ferdi and Igor, both have had surgery in the last week and likely to miss the rest of the season. Hinsh was shown training with the main squad in Tuesdays training photos.

Both done for the season? That sucks. Kadioglu has had a rotten debut season and Igor was performing well. tough game football, sometimes.
