Hmm, what do you base this on?

this is standard knowledge based on paleontology, reinforced from more recent observation. when we dig up remains we find a species like a modern known animal. there are differences between half dozen gorillas today, and we see changes in animals over mere hundreds of years.

I was listening to this back in April of last year and then it had to stop because of COVID. It's a really interesting case and my hunch is he's still out there somewhere possibly either Thailand or Dubai. That certainly seemed to be where the trail was heading before the series was stopped.

There were clear sightings of him in Southern Spain some years back.

They finished the 12 episodes it was scheduled for. I reckon he's been dumped in the med or something.

Ive just had to go back and listen to episode 12!

The hunt is still ongoing and the podcast will be back as confirmed by Peter Bleksley on his Twitter on Jan 16th https://twitter.com/PeterBleksley

He still seems pretty confident that he will find/ find out what happened to Parle.

Haha, yes I had forgotten about that fast show scetch very good.
Its a shame the science community use phrases like desparation theory it just adds to the division already there.
Surely all new research is desparation theory.
I guess the scientists who use the phrase are the same ones who have spent years trying to prove string theory and despite not yet proving it they feel they can ridicule new theories because string theory is established with books ,TV shows and of course billions of dollars in funding, but still unproven.
I agree the science community needs to put their heads together and drop the tribal fighting over their theories.
The string theory group and the quantum loop group and the other theories may have the complete theory of everything if they shared their research and worked together.
Desperation theory is an apt phrase for it. These theories really aren’t adding much to our knowledge. Basically non sensical folly by nerds who never grew up and are desperate to make their name. They themselves know they are on a hiding to nowhere.

But your reflection in the puddle has no consciousness. It doesn’t even have any mass. It’s a reflection. If you were holding a can of Fanta that’d be reflected too.

Yes that's a good point.
I have no consciousness in my but reflection in a puddle, but also my can of Fanta does not have a conciosness in this 3dimensional world.
In fact everything that makes up our reality is constructed by our five senses ,Im not seeing the reflection in the puddle,I am actually seeing my reflection in my brain not in the puddle.
My can of Fanta is also a product of my senses.
The way Fanta tastes, the temperature of the can,the colour of the can are all how my biological brain is interpreting the information.
The reflection in the puddle I saw just made me realise that if I can exist in a 2dimensinal puddle which exists because of my biology as a human in a 3dimensional world then maybe it's possible I exist in a 4dimensional world too.

Fair enough I don't know enough about them as individuals to comment but we must not forget a fair few scientists who have contributed greatly to our understanding were not taken seriously when they started and also some great scientists changed the status quo and were on the right track but proved to be slightly wrong on parts of there work in later centuries.
I'm just saying nothing should be ruled out.
As long as proper scientific principles are applied in the research then it should be investigated until proven or disproven.

I do find it funny how someone can talk, proudly even, about how they believe in a man in the sky keeping score (thank you George Carlin), yet if someone merely mentions a ufo they furiously denounce it as insanity, nonsense.

Yet let’s be honest. There is far far more evidence of ufos, (photographs, witness accounts, testimonies from the military and so on) compared to a man in the sky or a man who built an ark to carry all the animals two by two.

Strange business.

Love George Carlin, as my strapline shows. We could do with his humour and words of wisdom today

Galaxies are made up of stars, ergo, there must be more stars than galaxiesI

IF you could be bothered to read my original post i stated , there are as many galaxies as stars in the Milky Way galaxy . The MILKY WAY galaxy was my example .

I'm not sure if the Nazis were dealing directly with aliens but I'm 100 percent sure Hitler was convinced the ancient stories were real and he sent Nazis all over the globe to find proof and I believe he did indeed discover the proof.
Certainly the vimanas of the Vedas were of interest to him and that led to the creation of"die glocke"the nazi bell anti-gravity ship which was tested at a secret site in Poland.
Its interesting that after the war the us government shipped back all the nazi scientists to the us under operation paperclip and the top Nazi in charge of all the scientist went missing and was the only Nazi not to be tried in his absence at Nuremberg.
Hitler also had an interest in the weapons of the vedas and as well as continuing Nazi work in the us,the us government also carried on the nuclear weapons programme started by Hitler.
Its interesting that Oppenheimer upon completing the first successful nuclear explosion quoted the bhagavad Gita."I am death the destroyer of worlds"
One of the weapons of the Vedas is the brahmastra a weapon that would burn brighter than a 1000 suns, destroy everything in its path and people who survived would grow sick and die slowly.sounds like a nuke to me.
Intriguingly when asked about the test in an interview Oppenheimer said this was the first successful test in modern times.
Again was he giving a nod to the Vedas and the shift in thinking that everything in them is true.
So whilst maybe not directly getting advice from aliens I believe Hitler and the Nazis were certainly reverse engineering the technology of aliens that lived on earth 1000s of years ago.

I doubt it will satisfy you , but it should make you at least consider .

there's no proof present in the youtube. i've had a quick look at the paper its based on, seems to be about statistcal analysis of DNA drawing some conclusion of a pattern found. it doesnt seem to show easily what region or genes are affected and what benefit these have, only that they infer they are artificial. if its true, that the gene were manipulated, it amounts to genetic graffiti.

This one is getting as old as "lulz dont trust things you read on the internet"... Youtube is certainly the largest archive of video material in the history of video, just like the internet contains more information than any library in the world. I personally rarely use Youtube for anything but music and a bit of footy clips but this idea that Youtube is somehow useless is only true if you are useless at using it, because there's tons of stuff on there on pretty much every subject imaginable, collected from different time eras with everything from award winning documentaries to that Star Wars-impression you made when you were a kid. Not saying anything about this video in particular as I've not watched it, but to ridicule someone for using Youtube is pretty ignorant.

ironic eh, maybe you should to evaluate why i dismissed it? 3 minutes of mid-level graphics and ancient alien's Tsoukalos saying "see, ancient aliens!". i took the time to search for and find original source to understand the claim.

What, this one (Post #150)?

"So there are as many stars as grains of sand on every beach in the world , and as many galaxies as stars . And that is just what we have found so far , which stretches 14 Billion light years , and the possibility of multi-verses . But " There is nobody out there . " And you call that assumption " basic common sense ." WOW !"

Yes, I can see clearly. And Darwin is wrong.

Silly me.
