Donald Trump, apart form being a sexist, raciest, egomaniac who is not content messing up your own country, you are now about to send the world spiralling into chaos acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Now think why does Donald Trump want to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem ?
Trump has long championed the causes of those on the hard-right of Israeli politics.
Not least because they have supported him. Take Las Vegas casino tycoon Sheldon Adelson - a passionate supporter of radical Jewish settler groups in Jerusalem.
He gave a cool $35 million to groups supporting Trump's election campaign, which bought him a seat on the platform among former presidents for Trump's inauguration.
He has been said to be furious at Trump's delays in moving the embassy.

Money.

So that coupled with the fact he probably needs new allies and divert any bad publicity he is currently receiving in America, This truly show how short sighted this man is and is prepared to unleash a shit storm.

He has now stooped to a new low, and not content with dividing his own country with hate and vile, He seems intent on spreading further hatred and division throughout the world.
Feck you Trump, you complete and utter ****

He needs taking out.

Indeed, you can also look at this decision, as one that he needs to justify his hard approach to the world outside America. In that this decision is bound to lead to unjust around the world against American embassies and diplomats and an increase in Islamist terrorism. Trump can then justify closing the American borders to large parts of the World, which will work well with his home support. He can then start sending American troops to destroy the threat against America, again a move which his home support will lap up.

And of course a great distraction against his poor performance and alleged crimes. He may be thinking that saving America will save him.

But just making the world a much less safer place

You sound like an Islamist.

I would suggest Psychobilly freakout sounds more like an American foreign policy hawk with that one...

Really doesn't understand diplomacy.

For years every US President has faced this 6-monthly review and every time they have said.... "Er, well we think we should move the Embassy to Jerusalem, but not just yet and we'll review it in 6 months time." Thus maintaining a respectful air with the Palestinians (who, equally justifiably, believe they have a claim on Jerusalem as being theirs) while still acknowledging the Israeli claim to the city. Its called being DIPLOMATIC.

When the two sides come to a mutual agreement (brokered or independently, if they ever do!) then that would be the time for the US to act... doing it now just p1sses off the Palestinians and their allies, who really don't need more reasons to hate Israel and USA, thus escalating tensions locally and globally. Why deliberately do that?!

He is a tw@t of the highest order.

Do you think he got where he is at because he cared about what real people thought?

TBH.... I really do think he cares about what people think. However, he never tempers his behaviour to influence how they think. He does something tw@tishly tw@ty because he's a tw@t and then gets royally p1ssed off because people call him a tw@t for doing his tw@tishly tw@ty action.

He desperately wants everyone to think he is wonderful - but he wants them to change rather than changing himself!

If you consider Trump is quite likely to find himself in jail for the rest of his life his current actions actually do become quite alarming.

He is the savior of the world.

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people remained silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita...
Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds...
I 'spose we all thought that, one way or another.

Robert Oppenheimer

or

Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandius, King of Kings,
Look on my words, ye Mighty, and Despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay,
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Percy Shelley

whichever, not good!

You know what I think your close to the mark there, the Americans are already issuing alerts from the embassies even here for Americans to be vigilant, the wife is already embarrassed enough by Trump now this. This is him stoking fear and hatred, us against the world, and unfortunately uneducated Americans who are fed these lies through the media will believe it. The wife has been warned by her employers to be vigilant as where she works and who she interacts with there could be problems or concerns for her safety being American, which have cropped up before this.

Anyway he has lit the fire now, let’s just see which way the wind blows.

I’ve always found something deeply unpleasant about the insular nature of the US.

They still have this attitude that as the land of the free and the home of the brave they are superior to the rest of the world. There is no thought that any country in the world could do things better than them.

Trump epitomises this sadly.
