Over 60's across the nation, often Republicans, totally unimpressed with his awful response to CV19 over the last 7 months. Let's summarise; it's been a series of lies, the disinfectant and Hydroxychloroquine fiascos, sidelining renowned scientists, mocking those wearing masks, encouraging armed and thick as shite Flat Earthers to "Liberate" their states.

Also notable is the fact his campaign have been pulling ads from markets he should really be trying to win and having to spend the money instead in places he would traditionally have been winning.

Our cousins across the pond can help me out here.
But I'm not so sure screwing the taxman plays as badly over there as it does here, exp among Republicans.
I have always had the impression taxes = Democrats, so they can 'waste' money on 'big' government and social welfare.
As opposed to a more 'I earned it, I know how to best spend it' Republican approach with trickle down economics.
Paying $750 in tax is a life goal for a few/some/many Americans.
As said happy to be wrong if I've misinterpreted how US tax has been portrayed to me, and I apologise in advance if I'm really wrong.

I probably know no more than you on Americans and tax. My guess would be that there’s a large middle ground (floating voters?) who are prepared to and do pay a wedge in tax. Then there are Republicans and Republicans, ranging from the Orange tax evader to millions with morals.
On CNN just now, your friend Biden is speaking live to supporters. Pretty inspiring actually, you don’t get to be at the top of politics in ultra competitive federal US without being an operator, a good orator. Goosebumps for me when he covered the KKK, hate and the dog whistler Trump, the CV19 loss of life, Trump belittling masks.
There’s a real feeling of momentum imho.

Yes, they've been hammered by that. But if you look at the figures, there's been a steady increase on the deficit he inherited from Obama. In his first year, he increased the deficit by $80 billion and there have been steady increases ever since.
You could well argue that a period of low interest rates is a good time to invest but it does rather squash the idea that the Republicans are the party of fiscal prudence though.

That is Republican thinking though, borrowing to increase and stimulate investment as opposed to borrowing to increase the federal budget into governmental overreach

Im guessing some people would benefit no matter which president introduced financial stimuli to combat covid.
I don’t know who actually benefits in the US from lending billions for unemployment insurance, tax credit rebates, public health funds, small business paycheck protection and state and local covid relief.
Im guessing it starts with a B and rhymes with w@nker.
Wouldn’t want to go down the conspiracy route though in thinking stimulus was done just to help his chums……….that way madness lies
