To be fair, Take That are pretty shit and Mark Owen has been stealing a living for years, the lisping dwarf.

Yes, but The Who? What did they do? Were they touring some of these states and causing the infections? Did he see lots of kids singing 'hope I die before I get old'?

I do find it staggering, if true, that it he States funds the WHO with 10 times more money than China, especially given that a number of these respiratory outbreaks seem to stem from there.

China is pumping a crap load of money into Ethiopia. One guess where the head of the WHO is from.

It's communist dogs looking after communist dogs.

Luxembourg contributes more to the WHO than China. China contributes a paltry .21%

China heads 4 of the UN's 15 specialised agencies though. More than any other nation.

A quite tremendous band, possibly and probably, and actually terrifically good. Exactly what I've heard.... many times, and we've looked into that. A band. As I've said many many times.

Next question.

The Treasury Department has ordered President Trump’s name be printed on stimulus checks the Internal Revenue Service is rushing to send to tens of millions of Americans, a process that is expected to slow their delivery by several days, senior agency officials said.

The unprecedented decision, finalized late Monday, means that when recipients open the $1,200 paper checks the IRS is scheduled to begin sending to 70 million Americans in coming days, “President Donald J. Trump” will appear on the left side of the payment.

I think this is fair enough seeing as how his authority is total and everything and in these unprecedented times and all that.

Yet another deflection, blaming past presidents for the lack of pandemic preparation. He’s had the top job for over 3 years.
Good of him to own the fact he binned off the Pandemic Response Team days after his election...

an irony as i recall a story they mess up the legislation for this as the Treasury Secretary, not Trump, had to sign off on it to be legal. i wonder if this is going to trigger conspiracies the cheques arent legal, or private promises from the President rather than the Treasury.

It’s always worth watching this on CNN if you have it. Within a second of a Trump lie, they have a caption at the bottom that refutes them with a telling fact.

For example, when Trump boasted that he’s unilaterally closed US borders with China very early on, whilst Europe fatally dithered .... CNN revealed that 40,000 passengers still entered the US from China post his ‘ban’.
I would not know how to get CNN? Is it on satellite or can you get it via a computer? I saw him try to rip in to that lady journo in a clip on the BBC yesterday, glad she stood her ground until he exploded with the " Fake News " defence. I just love the way he lurches around the stage like a constipated wardrobe.

Desperately scrambling for scapegoats- Obama, China, the WHO, Mark Owen, the media, state governors. Anyone but him.

Whatever he said, whatever he did, he didn't mean it...

Quite right to hold the money back, they don't deserve a penny. The WHO reacted too late in this case.

...oh.

And making no comment on the unclassified material he would have seen in 2018 about the laboratories in China that were looking at infections in bats to research the possibility of transfer to humans, and how the Americans that visited these laboratories on a number of occasions were concerned about the safety and security of the laboratories and therefore the possibility of a pandemic arising.

But reading reports and/or listening to experts and understanding them is not a Trump strong point.

I can't remember agreeing with Trump before but I do on this one. The virus doesn't move, we move the virus. In my opinion all passenger plane travel should have been banned by all countries day one. The WHO took a political decision over a common sense one.

Hypocrisy of monumental proportions given how Trump reacted to Corona virus from the outset. The king of blame culture, mind boggling stuff.

So why didn't Trumpo ban travel from China?

...oh no he didn't...

3rd up I'm blaming WHO and halting their funding to deflect blame from himself.
Now the attack on WHO. A very long list of charges.
I haven't seen his press conference, and assume I disagree with just about everything he said, but he may be right about the WHO.

My cursory glance leads me to believe they've covered up for China, resulting in the deaths of many thousands of people around the world. If correct, they should be in prison.

But in our own tiny, insignificant cornerette of t'internet we're all still feasting on it.

It only takes one or two vocal whataboutary's and Trumpleton wins.

In his defence (I can't believe this is happening), was it not unclear at that time that China and the WHO were lying to us all?
