For those wanting a catch up on the day and preview of the next my favoured podcasts are

https://play.acast.com/s/tourdefrance

Naturally it's heavy on the TV broadcast, but it's bonus is Matt Rendell - easily the smartest man in the room, irrespective as to who else is in there with him

&

https://thecyclingpodcast.com/

Not one for 1066, but a seriously knowledgeable and affable triumvirate of presenters.

Thanks for that...Subscribed to both and listened to the ITV one...Very entertaining

Gerty is on good form and placed well.

Yatesy needs a breakaway win and pronto to call himself a contender.

Froomey needs a miracle stage.

No Apehangers or Cowhorns?

Cowhorns, with a few tassles and mirrors/horns should be compulsory for the last stage in Paris.

reintroduce the Raleigh Bomber!

Criminal charges await Saturday’s idiot.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-57631134

Police say they have launched a criminal investigation.

They aim to charge the woman with "deliberately violating safety regulations and causing injuries that might prevent someone working for up to three months".

I reckon that's just posturing to try to prevent others doing the same. Sure they could have apprehended her at the time if they were serious. But we'll see.

I like what Prudhomme said.... If people want to look at themselves they should look in the mirror :lolol:

Also liked the cardboard sign right at the back of the crowd on a little climb yesterday....Fvck off Opi & Omi.

So Soler finished with broken bones in each arm.
G has just had a dislocated shoulder 'popped back in'.

Tonight I'll be watching grown men scream and writhe around on the floor in agony, when touched.

That must to the 10th successive year for this comment.

Blimey I could have won this year's tour by virtue of being last man standing.

Sure I'd be riding down the Champs around Christmas time, but it'll still be a win.

I worked all weekend so a little disappointed to catch 'only' a sprint day.

Well that wasn't only a sprint day.

Ned breakfasted with Roy Keane today.

The latter was dumbfounded by G's exploits yesterday.
