Blimey, Froome still going. I didn't expect that.

Hope everyone else is okay.

Brlliiant from Alaphilippe, got to love Julian.

That second one looked horrific.

It did, didn't it?

I can't remember seeing one that bad. Some woman with a little kid was so nearly taken out, and one poor bloke watching with his bike was absolutely wiped out. I'd be surprised if he isn't badly hurt.

Scary stuff.

For those wanting a catch up on the day and preview of the next my favoured podcasts are

https://play.acast.com/s/tourdefrance

Naturally it's heavy on the TV broadcast, but it's bonus is Matt Rendell - easily the smartest man in the room, irrespective as to who else is in there with him

Not one for 1066, but a seriously knowledgeable and affable triumvirate of presenters.

That will be a waste of time and money.

I was pleased to see that Tony M finished. It must have taken ages to dig him out of that heap.

The second crash. Did a rider hit a telegraph pole? I hope not.

3 DNFs is a low figure looking at those two crashes combined.

Cav still there and Froome is going to feel a bit second hand this morning.

Another great stage finish, but a shame that Alpecin weren’t wearing the Mercier tribute kit - which was brilliant.

Van set Poel looks like he is going to be an absolute superstar - and his number one sport is mountain biking. Wonderful stuff.
