I only had half an eye on it, but looked to be a decent level of intensity in this one with a fair few tackles flying in. Was that the case?

I have been VAR's biggest critic, but have to say the 2nd penalty was a huge decision in the game, and it got it right on this occasion.

:lolol:

I’m going to leave a hot dog in my microwave for 5 minutes, heat three quarters of a pint of Harvey’s to about 40 degrees and then get Mrs GB to take a score out of my wallet for the privilege, before making her give me 30 quid back.

I’m then going to stand outside my own house for 25 minutes before getting to the Foghorn for top up supplies three minutes before it closes to takeaway. It’s all about authenticity

Very much enjoyed that. I though that was one of the most intelligent crowds I've heard for a long time. Positive support and no barracking.

It was the best contest so far. Mourinho showing he's still got it, Bergwijn looks a threat, Pogba and Fernandes look a promising double act. Even better intensity than you credit. And Roy Keane got MotM. Been saving that up for a 100 days.

Tomorrow it's the Lamptey, Ali Mac and Alzate show.

Standing in the way of control
Knowing there are mods in the vicinity primed with their Bear Pit instructions, I still can't resist this

They should do Brexit ads around the pitch. Union Jack flags in the stands. You're on a disconnected island with the Tories watching Spurs and Man Utd with a furious Keane for the rest of your life and on into hell

Blatant dive by Fernandes, an athlete who bizarrely momentarily lost all honed balance and core strength.

Why didn’t wnkr Moss wave play on? VAR would’ve soon corrected him otherwise.

Doubtful. Not clear and obvious. Give the pen and it is a mandatory requested check. Stupid rules.

Once Pogba came on the verbal masterbation for Pogba and Fernandes from the commentators hit another level.

The furious Keane bit would provide welcome respite and amusement, but the remainder sounds awful.
And there I was, switching off and relaxing on a Friday night after a stressful week, AND YOU COME ALONG AND RUIN IT.
