Only 2 places?

That's shocking.

The Blackpool MP who's up for a recall vote is in a constituency that has barely managed 60% turnout at a GE.

If there are only a couple of places to register disapproval he may well get away with it.
Yeah it was shocking. Turnout was 13.2%
Actually there was only one place in Wellingborough itself - just South of the town centre
I’m surprised that over 10% made the effort but glad they did.

The sad thing is, is that they may as well say that!! Let's face it nothing is going to be done, no one will lose any money, it will be forgotten about in a couple of months because something else will come up.
The staunch Conservative voter probably wont put it all together & if they're like my mum will ramble something about '3 day working weeks, miners strikes & Thatcher getting them all back to work' :shootself Yes that is the kind of thing she says (and believes) which is bloody worrying as she still seems to have her mental faculties (no disrespect to anyone suffering from the effects of dementia etc.).
I can't be bothered anymore to give her history lessons, I hope she can't be bothered anymore to vote. In fact I may just ask her not to vote by saying to her that by not voting she will give a tiny voice to my jnr who's not old enough to vote. She wont be receiving a pen for Xmas that's for sure. :lolol:
Important to remember she was made a Baroness and the now Lord Cameron. Another case in very poor judgement few ever mention

Sorry to be pedantic, but the cases quoted were when he was a human rights defence barrister, not the DPP. Even murderers are entitled to defence in a court of law.

They're desperate, the Mail dug up a story about Starmer used the European court to fight for a dog, from the same guy that wrote a story about his mother owning a field with donkey on it.

Saddle up folks, the non-doms aren't happy about their future. There will be a lot more...

It'll be nothing when compared to the day after the GE and EVERYTHING is Labour's fault, esp when compared to the land of milk and honey we are currently living in.

No way. Starmer has a plan for everything in the manifesto, costed to the penny and there SHALL be honey still for tea.

Ah ok. But it’s starts
As a mid headline on the front page. Next year it will be emblazoned across all the right wing crazies headlines.

Just to add the rules, that barristers have to adhere to, from a barrister.

Ireland is to initiate a legal challenge against the UK government’s legislation to deal with the legacy of the Northern Ireland Troubles.

Ireland’s deputy premier, Micheál Martin, said the interstate case would argue that the provisions of the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Act 2023 were incompatible with the UK’s obligations under the European convention on human rights.

Corbyn was IRA support and antisemitism.

The Mail, Sun & Express will all now follow. Whilst it’s good for Starmer that this is ‘the best they can do’ how many morons will be gaslit by it?

Starmer poses a real financial and perhaps existential threat for ****s like the one below, no surprise that they are going all in.

We shouldn't just be taxing non-doms we should be excluding them from UK media ownership

I think he’s got more front for leaving the house with that hair than any of his opinions versus his tax status.
