I am beginning to wonder, given the incredible 'destroy and exit' that seems to be underway, whether the fat lying messy smirking bungle**** has always hated the country and the Conservative party and it has been his plan all along to make a monumental mess of everything. For a laugh.

He's a disgusting human being on every level.

And then **** off to France, with his Dad, laughing all the way...

I get increasingly sick of those tedious knobs who wait for live broadcasts to shout their belligerent slogans when the rest of us just want to listen to the latest news and some analysis from the experts. It’s boorish and arrogant to think we’d rather listen to them, particularly at moments like this.

You’d think so but I have to admire whoever played the Imperial March on a glockenspiel during all the Brexit brouhaha :lolol:

I'm off out for a work day in the Lake District Fells tomorrow - something I usually look forward to. But I'm concerned that I'm going to miss loads more fun and games!

I think you may have gone a step too far there, sorry!

Why? I’d love to see Putin go the same way. A man I also loath, and if a politician hangs onto power damaging our country and tens of millions of lives because he puts himself first more than everyone and anyone rather than the people he’s supposed to serve, including his own party…I ain’t got any problem with wishing such a politician dies whatever the cause of death. Trump is same mould. These New ‘Democratic’ leaders no longer abide by or represent the system built over hundreds of years. Everyone should be enormously worried by such crackpots who behave more like Dictators now. So, again, whatever removes them from office…? Plague, Nutters, Asteroids…quite happy for anything because it sure ain’t self respect and integrity anymore!

There is a significant proportion of the electorate that will lap this up.
If he does call a general election, I suspect he would still poll better than many of the other prospective Tory Leaders.

In a way, I admire the resilience, the self belief and tenacity of Boris. If only he had channeled it into something useful, rather than this shit show.

Plague and asteroids I can live with - I think the line should be drawn at assassination though, particularly in light of the fact two MP's have been murdered in the past few years. It ain't a joking matter, really!

West is BEST
The danger being, of course, that IF he survives this there will be sectors of the electorate who will admire that tenacity and vote for him in a GE.
At this point, it would be folly to rule out anything. The man has defied political gravity before. He may do so again.

However unlikely that may seem today. I know it seems impossible but don’t think this is over . It’s not. Not by a long way.
