All open 24/7 and subsidised by us. You bunch of tory wankers.

And some exempt from the smoking ban. And I cannot believe the shutters weren’t pulled open on some of the bars during lockdown.

Also a story in the Mirror that he used the new "ministerial jet" to pick him and his family from a "Cornwall holiday".

Technically he was down there (before) campaigning in the Tiverton and Honiton by-election, but the plane cannot be used under such circumstances. It's against the rules.

It's the Governments plane, not the Conservative party plane.

"But the Sunday Mirror has established an official Government plane, complete with United Kingdom livery and the tail number G-GBNI, was despatched from London to Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose, a helicopter base near the village of Goonhusband".

If you turn a blind eye to fare evasion, if you accustom people to getting away with minor crime, you are making it more likely that they will go on to commit more serious crimes.
That is why we have so much disorder in London. It is a disgrace.

All roads lead to Johnson’s judgement on the Pincher affair.

He knew what he was like but still appointed him as he’s be a loyal sycophant.

Six new claims of inappropriate behaviour by former Conservative deputy chief whip Chris Pincher have emerged, days after he was suspended from the party for allegedly groping two men.

The allegations stretch back more than a decade.

Mr Pincher - who represents Tamworth in Staffordshire - says he is seeking professional medical support and has no intention of resigning as an MP.

I don't know much about how this works but Pincher can only be nicked if one of his (alleged) victims presses charges right?

In which case I'd imagine they've all been cowed or otherwise sweet-talked into not doing so.

Pretty sure though if you or I were to do the same things we'd be in cuffs by the end of the day.

One rule for thee...

Possibly but not necessarily. I don’t know what happened on Wednesday night but if I was at an event and some bloke made a grab for my cock or pinched my arse I would be pissed off but unlikely to report it to the police or press charges. I really wouldn’t want all the hassle that comes with going to police stations to make statements, pressing charges and waiting for a potential court case that might drag on for months before coming to nothing.

I’d be more likely just to tell him to **** off.

CPS can bring charges if in public interest even if victim doesn’t - although you’d probably need the victim to be happy to give a statement unless there are witnesses. Carolyn Flack’s boyfriend didn’t want to press charges after she twatted him with a lamp for example. Another high-profile case of supposed victim not wanting to pursue was Ched Evans’ ultimately quashed conviction.

I'm glad you hold your cock and arse in such high esteem.

if I was at an event and someone made a grab for my cock or pinched my arse I would be surprised then straight to the police.
There's no way somebody that degenerate should be allowed to see the light of day ever again.

Yes, I would probably just let mt displeasure be known to the individual, however, if I later learned that this was a pattern of behaviour and that he gets away with it mostly because no one makes an official complaint to Police, I might then change my mind and make an official complaint.

It's just so bloody brazen, he still thinks he's above reproach.

happens in pubs and clubs every weekend, usually dealt with harsh language. obvs different expected behaviour for MP, some people's threshold for police and courts seems hardline. real problem here is that he was ever made a whip, or even selected to stand with the history of behaviour.

It is also abuse of power right? Someone junior to them at work and whips are famous for, shall we call it “arm-twisting”, when others might call it blackmail. How would someone react to someone senior to them at work abusing power like this (no not you Carrie, other people)

Got to love the Sunday Mirror. I lived right next door to Culdrose for three years and I have literally never heard of the village of 'Goonhusband' :p

Hamlet rather than village but they are hardly making it up. Very prominent on Google Maps.

A better analogy is a works outing at a pub or club. These aren't random people at a club - they are colleagues. Puts a completely different spin on it.

Or Senior management groping the office juniors at the pub Friday night after work

I really can't understand why anyone would even try and defend it

The CPS treats domestic violence differently to other violence due to the relationship between the offender and victim and the fact that there are rarely reliable witnesses. Even if the victim subsequently withdraws their allegation they will still consider prosecution. This can be problematic as sometimes the "victim" has made a baseless allegation in the heat of an argument (which diminishes the likelihood of convicting genuine abusers).

Have you looked at the satellite image underneath that :lolol: I'm not saying its made up, but the Mirror has absolutely chosen this non-entity of a place that the locals don't even know, rather than saying 'near Helston' like every sane-minded publication would, because it has a funny name with connotations of Johnson.

and fair play to them I say :)
