I'm getting more angry about this.

He admits groping, not just one but two people (their gender does not matter, but I wonder what the situation would have been if..). A criminal offence and sexual one at that. Assault. That will be investigated by the Tories themselves. Not the Met.

Why haven't the true victims complained to the police and investigations made? One might surmise.

Because right now the victim appears to be poor ol'Chris. A self-confessed perv and predator - allegedly - just needing a little medical guidance before resuming his job of representing his constituents.

He and the Buffoon, are no longer servants, but masters.

Begone

Isn't Kevin Spacey in court for a similar offence?

The government’s official spending watchdog is to launch an inquiry into Boris Johnson’s claim that 40 new hospitals will be built by 2030, as concerns grow in Whitehall that the pledge is unaffordable and has been greatly oversold to the public.

In a move that could prove hugely embarrassing for the prime minister, the independent National Audit Office (NAO) has decided to conduct a “value for money review” into the entire scheme, which was a cornerstone of the Conservative party’s 2019 general election manifesto.

Just add The National Audit office to the 'enemies of the People' list in the Daily Mail.

Yep. Agreed. And lest we forget, this is the second time he’s had to resign for sexually assaulting men. Did almost exactly same thing a few years ago. Apologised, said he’d mend his ways, needled his way back into politics….gets caught again.

Ridiculous.

It's rare to find complete agreement with another poster in all parts of the post; but here it is! Thank you for expressing my anger better than I could.... I would would only add that 'Arse' Pincher should be given therapy after he has left the Commons entirely and NOT when it is politically expedient to do so....

There's beginning to be some talk that PIncher will have to resign as MP: that would be an interesting by-election. For one thing, there's the obvious symbolic importance of Tamworth to the Conservatives, losing it would be like the ravens leaving the Tower.

Secondly, the LibDems are way behing Labour in the seat, so if the Tories are defeated, then Labour will have to attract the floating voters and Tory defectors. It's not as big a majority as Tiverton/Honiton but it will be a big ask for Labour to win it.

If there is a by-election and Labour do win it, then Johnson's toast - but those are two big ifs.

Agreed. This sums up precisely why it’s a big ask for Labour to take Tamworth really well. Also has some interesting thoughts on why a failure to do so could still be a useful “dry run” ahead of a General Election.

Another day, another investigation into Boris Johnson’s conduct…

Boris Johnson faces investigation into claims over 40 ‘new’ hospitals
Trusts reveal only five wholly new hospitals planned, as Labour says the scheme ‘exists only in PM’s imagination’

Being reported tonight the owners of The Daily Mail have stepped in (which they very rarely do) and have told the editors that the newspapers line on Johnson is now out of the line with the readership.

It's always rather telling that The Mail is nearly always the last front page to appear online. Almost as if they are waiting to see what scandal the day will close on and how they can spin it. Rather like Johnson's infamous Leave/Remain article.

On NewsNight on Friday it was claimed that No:10 was “bracing itself” for further allegations to come out with regard to Chris Pincher. Well it seems those fears are about to be realised with numerous other claims of unwanted sexual advances made by Mr Pincher detailed in the Sunday Times tomorrow.

Dom Cummings has also waded in, claiming Johnson was fully aware of his Deputy Chief Whip’s reputation, calling him “Pincher by name, pincher by nature.”

Obviously Pincher has admitted 2 instances of unwanted sexual touching. On that basis alone he must either choose to resign or be told to resign his Parliamentary seat. In the meantime, the Speaker should have the power to ban him from the Parliamentary estate. Everyone else working their has the absolute right to be protected from his behaviour until this matter is resolved.

Too positive to Johnson or too negative to Johnson?

Surprise. Tory's withholding the truth.

Burn them out.

Also a story in the Mirror that he used the new "ministerial jet" to pick him and his family from a "Cornwall holiday".

Technically he was down there (before) campaigning in the Tiverton and Honiton by-election, but the plane cannot be used under such circumstances. It's against the rules.

It's the Governments plane, not the Conservative party plane.

:)

Too positive. There is always a point where it starts to affect their commercial interests.

If he’s a Tory PM losing the Mail that seems like very bad news.

Silly old bat
...and hoping to return to political life.

Sexual abusers should seek medical attention. Sanctioned by a court. And should not be allowed in proximity of vulnerable people whom they have abused before and are likely to abuse again. They should also face criminal charges and sign the sex offender's register for life.

So he's facing no consequences. Great. Well done, Johnson. Another winner. I don't suppose the Metropolitan Peerlease will be investigating.

Talking of sex offenders there’s this top Tory MP still to be investigated and revealed.

Jesus wept. God knows what has gone on behind those walls over the last decade. I shudder. A chap on the radio was explaining that there is a bar in the basement called "The Stranger's bar"" that the more seedy MP's and their guests like to frequent. Allegedly. Separate to the Strangers Restaurant.

This is a building with no less than THIRTY bars in it.
