I really don't get this attitude! This is not, in my mind, about just attending a party, it's about the integrity of those that make the decisions that affect us all and whether they can be trusted to make even bigger decisions based on facts and not political kudos, for example, we could soon be in a position where Johnson needs to send troops to Ukraine. He needs to do that on the basis of what is best for the situation, not what is best for his career.

I agree – sorry, that's what I was clumsily trying to portray. It's the fact that MPs are HAVING to debate parties that resulted from a load of Henrys caring not one jot for the rules they themselves wrote, instead of, say how to best deal with the threat from Russia or – in a situation closer to home – child poverty.

Personally I don't believe a guy like him says. And as for people who DO say 'it was just a party' – yes, but actions speak louder than words. The fact that he has so little regard for the general public is shocking. He really just doesn't give a shite.

It's always quite interesting watching a party gearing up to be out of power for such a long time, whether that be The Tories, Labour or those other ones.

That may not happen anytime soon, but there are clearly on that path. If they continue with that front bench, the Tories could be out for a decade.

I'm not sure most people did know. Leading up to an election the TV companies aren't going to completely trash an individual.

My personal animosity is due to reading about him extensively when he was London Mayor. Nobody is really interested outside of London.

A huge penny dropped when he had to be forced back from holiday because of the London riots. He turned up on St Johns Road in Clapham Junction with a broom.

Unfit to be an MP, unfit to be London Mayor, unfit for public office. The only thing he is genuinely good is writing inflammatory tabloid style journalism.

He's the got the Greater London Authority investigation currently under way (again) and an upcoming Covid Inquiry.

I'd be amazed if his party doesn't do him in before the next election. I'm not sure Labour will have any hand in it if Johnson stays.
