Load of bollocks and just shows the BBC up for what they are , Boris is over in Kiev representing this country and doesn't need a two bob journo coming out with crap like that distracting from the purpose of the visit

Now that is funny, you actually made me laugh out loud. Do you honestly believe that? Blowjob is in the Ukraine because he’s a coward and doesn’t want to answer questions on the Downing Street parties. You should be on the stage or more appropriately in the circus.

I’m confused; which one is the two bob journo? The BBC correspondent or the complete mess who’s been sacked from every publication he’s ever written for and is currently masquerading as our Prime Minister?

I really don't get this attitude! This is not, in my mind, about just attending a party, it's about the integrity of those that make the decisions that affect us all and whether they can be trusted to make even bigger decisions based on facts and not political kudos, for example, we could soon be in a position where Johnson needs to send troops to Ukraine. He needs to do that on the basis of what is best for the situation, not what is best for his career.

I agree – sorry, that's what I was clumsily trying to portray. It's the fact that MPs are HAVING to debate parties that resulted from a load of Henrys caring not one jot for the rules they themselves wrote, instead of, say how to best deal with the threat from Russia or – in a situation closer to home – child poverty.

Personally I don't believe a guy like him says. And as for people who DO say 'it was just a party' – yes, but actions speak louder than words. The fact that he has so little regard for the general public is shocking. He really just doesn't give a shite.

So if Johnson goes, will Patel, Mogg, Dorries etc ever see the front bench again?

Are you referring to the one that got sacked from one of those publications for LYING? And the very same one that was also sacked from the Cabinet for LYING?

Obviously that must depend on who steps into Johnson’s shoes. If Gove I’d say that there’s a fair chance of at least one of this bunch being given a ministerial post…..’

Dorries really is a car crash, I just found her C4 " Interview "with Krishnan Guru-murphey , she seems pissed and does not seem to understand the question....surely one of her kids should take her aside and have a word ?

I can't tell from his posts if he really believes the drivel he writes. I think sometimes he just want to provoke. Can anyone take de Piffle seriously ?

It's always quite interesting watching a party gearing up to be out of power for such a long time, whether that be The Tories, Labour or those other ones.

That may not happen anytime soon, but there are clearly on that path. If they continue with that front bench, the Tories could be out for a decade.

Boris is a joke and always has been.
Are you really surprised at his antics ?
Another clueless upper class twit, who is definitely using the crisis in the Ukraine as a smoke screen, looks so uncovincing.
You voted him in and knew what you were getting.

er.. some of us didn't :lolol:

I'm not sure most people did know. Leading up to an election the TV companies aren't going to completely trash an individual.

My personal animosity is due to reading about him extensively when he was London Mayor. Nobody is really interested outside of London.

A huge penny dropped when he had to be forced back from holiday because of the London riots. He turned up on St Johns Road in Clapham Junction with a broom.

Unfit to be an MP, unfit to be London Mayor, unfit for public office. The only thing he is genuinely good is writing inflammatory tabloid style journalism.

The question for Labour, is the best strategy for Johnson to stay in post as long as possible?

Will is blow over and Johnson recover or is he now just a total liability that will do long term damage to the party?

He's the got the Greater London Authority investigation currently under way (again) and an upcoming Covid Inquiry.

I'd be amazed if his party doesn't do him in before the next election. I'm not sure Labour will have any hand in it if Johnson stays.

More details of what the police are investigating:

https://www.theguardian.com/politic...ded-leaving-do-during-strict-january-lockdown

.. including some more acid from the Dark Lord Cummings

“People also underestimate the extent to which he lies to literally everybody literally all day – including to Carrie and about Carrie."

“‘Lies’ isn’t even a useful word with him – he lives inside a fog of invention and ‘believes’ whatever he has to in the moment. E.g He both knows he’s lying about the parties AND thinks he did nothing wrong. This doesn’t make ‘sense’ unless you’ve watched him carefully or similar sociopaths.”

Ouch...

This thread is called 'Tory Meltdown Incoming', yet after everything that's happened, all the lies, corruption and law breaking, the Tory MPs seem to be generally fine with what's going on (with the odd exception).

Makes me wonder what Johnson would actually have to do in order to lose his job.
