At the moment, Labour don't want to give the Tories any ammunition. They used ULEZ against them, even though they introduced it.
Starmer is playing his cards very close to his chest until it is time for a general election.
That's all very well, but I get concerned when some of the absurd UKIPPY policies of this current govt go unchallenged.

Unfortunately, in a FPTP system we have no choice but to trust him. You're either pro this Ukip/Reclaim/Brexit/BNP-lite bollox or you're sane and rational and have to vote tactically to get them out. If that wasn't the case, no way would I vote for Starmer based on what he says and does.

I'm still waiting for a response from you after you called me an anti vax?

You vanished pretty quickly, let me know when you get a chance to reply to the post.
I don't have a memory of calling you -- or m/any -- of being an anti-vaxxer. Which is not a denial that I did. If I did, and there's no evidence for it, then apologies. I do have a memory (which often fails: see above) of you being quite keen on getting flying back going again, and that being one of your prime motivations for re-opening the economy (or parts of it).

I'll add a couple more to that list you're responding to too:
7, what are the populations of China and India
8, what are the emissions per capita of China, India and the UK

The spirit of Norman Tebbit is alive and well. Get on your bike.
How dare you take an early retirement, when Deliveroo needs workers.

About 8.6 million people in the UK – equivalent to one in five working adults – are classed as economically inactive, according to the Office for National Statistics. More than 3.4 million of them are over 50 but under the retirement age.
This is placing strain on the labour market, with many employers struggling to recruit, and is part of the reason for high inflation, the Bank of England has said.

How strange. I’m sure I recall a long time ago that there were calls for ‘older’ workers to retire as they were ‘blocking’ jobs and stopping younger workers coming through.

Now so many have retired early they’re at fault for not working an damaging the economy and letting down employers
and causing inflation … funny old world, just goes to show what’s right or wrong today will be the exact opposite in times to come.:ROFLMAO:

and which is exactly the opposite to a few years ago when many people were saying that there far too many ‘forrin’ workers coming in and taking everyone’s jobs … and if not that they were moaning so many were coming that they were driving down wages.

Im not arguing with you at all fella, just sort of reflecting on right today wrong tomorrow and visa versa.

If the Home Office was allowed to get on and process the asylum claims, these poor people could actually get jobs and contribute to the economy. Just 2% of claims were processed last year, yet once processed over 80% are accepted.
