Can't link articles of this device but had a quick look and Press Gazette, Intermedia Brand Marketing. and a few others.

45% of Mail readers are over 65 and The Mail is the only paper with a majority female readership (albeit slight).

I reckon from that if you were to split the readership into 6 categories:

men no kids,
women no kids,
men parent,*
women parent,*
men grandparent,
women grandparent

Edit: *But not grandparents (added)

and take into account longevity and the historical lower age of first time mothers v fathers it is fair to assume that grandmothers are the largest category of Daily Mail readers.

I've chosen the 6 categories as that seemed a reasonable breakdown of the readership if we are using 'grannies' as a category.

Quite enjoyed working that through. Be interested if anyone can see any howlers I've made in my methodology.

Edit again ... Taken into account approx 15% over 65 being childless.

Yes. Also, women have traditionally lived longer than men + middle classes live longer than the working classes = a disproportionately high number of elderly, middle class, Daily Mail reading, Tory-voting, women!

The sooner the tories are voted out the better . Been in power for 13 years and have f***ed this country more than even thatcher did !!! Labour has a very very hard and daunting time in government coming up to try and repair what will be 15 years of carnage .

West is BEST

Is that Grant dressed up as a copper? Why? Nobody but someone who has earned the uniform should have the temerity to wear it. Same for military uniform.
George Bush dressed up as a fighter pilot was a disgrace. Especially as he was a draft dodger.

Boris Johnson in ill fitting, lopsided riot gear?
Twat.

1. It's not a uniform
2. he didn't wear it
3. If he did wear it he didn't know it was a uniform
4. He wore it, knew it was a uniform but was advised it was legal.
5. It's not him.
(c) Johnson

That’s what Portland needs, a legionella break out.
Very easy to prevent too and there are strict regulations around testing and maintenance so that tells us the barge isn’t being safely maintained.

I’m not surprised at how not surprised I am.
This is why, amongst other things like no life belts, the Fire Service and H&S refused to give it a safety certificate. Yet, the Home Office went ahead anyway.

Get these people out of Westminster asap!
