To be honest I don't really care whether Johnson stays or goes, my opinion of him hasn't changed at all since he became PM, he's always been a lying sack of s***. And to be honest I think the best chance of a Labour govt would probably be if Johnson stays till the next election.

The thing that bugs me, is all the tory mp's making out like they've had enough of Johnson lying. Well it's not new, he was a liar when you elected him, he was liar when he survived the vote of confidence. The only difference is they've suddenly realised they might lose their seats at the next election and are trying to save their own skin. I guess that's the way politics has always been though.

Lovely to see my MP, Peter Bottomley got to ask a question at PMQs today.... about plans to build houses on Goring Gap.... not a word about the PM

My controversial opinion is thus; it has been a bad few days for the PM.

The only way he'll go is if his own lot force him out (looking a bit more likely now though)

Seven months later....

Well it's a bit more cynical than that though isn't it?
Sunak and Javid believe this is the optimal point to launch their bids to be the next PM.

Sunak's resignation letter was nothing more than a leadership pitch to the Tory Party.
