well what people see on social media goes a lot deeper than what you see on the BBC , some of it may be skewed or maybe not , if you are not addicted to social media as the vast majority of the globe appears to be currently then I guess there's a bit of a chance you may not be aware of the general theft and looting being carried out by what is , by suggestion , illegal immigrants in and around London....that is what is perceived
Yet more confirmation bias!

'Perceived', 'suggestion' - who is feeding this rhetoric? How do they know it is 'illegal' immigrants, as by their very nature nobody knows who they are, as they are illegal - unless of course you are conflating them with asylum seekers. If so, what evidence do you have for your perceived suggestion?

well if we actually knew who the enemy was it would make it easier to do something about it , I think we are currently the victim of a political system that goes way beyond Starmers Labour and The Tories , our govt does what its told from above but by whom I'm not sure , they certainly don't seem to be acting in the public interest and Starmer and Khan have been on the wrong side for decades ...thats my opinion.

The amount of shit that the UK electorate pokes up with before removing governments is laughable. From illegal wars to shafting the electorate to pay back money lost by posh ****s still on big bonuses to the economic and social disaster that was Brexit. The UK electorate will not vote for change when they are getting f***ed.

I don't get it and the people I speak to internationally don't get it either.

Your government doesn't to what it is told from above it does what it is allowed to do from below.

Totally agree that they don't act in the public interest, because they don't need to. .. That's my opinion.

Off piste but anyone joining the Bruv Party? Tate’s website, including 41 tenets complete with topless photos is quite the hoot.

Who are the people from above telling what to do? Is it the billionaires? If so you must hate Musk trying to interfere.

Genuinely interested who is telling them what to do.

There's always local Facebook groups for "why is the helicopter out", "who left this empty beer can on the street?" and "the kids are laughing too loud at the playground" type of things for those who are into that kind of stuff.
We have a local whatsapp group for that

Not terribly helpful when you're not at home. Twitter is (was) much more universally useful for breaking news events.

that is a credible , alternative view I guess , however , It was outside money that funded massive improvements to numerous cities throughout the UK and central London has also been "modernised" with overseas money , business is business , you don't take billions from abroad to improve your city slums and then walk away without liabilities , it's not how the world works.

I would have thought it would have been easy enough to apply what I said to your post , for a man of your intelligence ........if there is no one pulling the current showers strings then Starmer needs investigating , he appears to have very little empathy towards indigenous Brits and appears to be hell bent on illiminating Islamaphobia which is like trying to illiminate bad language or wearing dirty underwear.

You have to be joking, all elected governments do what they are told to by big business and the economic market. The only time I can think of when the government did what it thought was in the general population's interest was the Labour government that replaced Churchill and the Tories. The only reason this happened was because they were scared of a working class that had just been demobbed after winning a war, so we had all the concessions and reforms to improve the lives of the masses. Once the threat of armed revolt passed the meaning of reform did a 180 and we saw the dismantling of all those gains.

So whoever has invested in London and other unnamed cities is pulling labours strings to iliminate (eliminate??) islamaphobia?

Whi are the investors you are talking? And what are you talking about with the eliminating islamaphobia thing?

I do consider myself of reasonable intelligence but I am struggling to follow what you are on about 😂.

Yes of course, I worded that badly. I guess my point was more that the UK electorate do little to discourage them from doing so.

As you so rightly say it has been a very long time since a government has been concerned about the power of the electorate. The electorate seem hesitant to weild it.

There are certainly billionaires trying to influence British politics and control Starmer. They’re called Musk and Putin and I don’t think eliminating Islamophobia is exactly on their agenda.

Oh yes. Big business campaigned for the increase in NI.

Do you recall the Panama Papers which quietly established that there was a shadowy cabal of billionaires with a network of lawyers, lobbyists, think tanks, 'charitable' interest groups and the like being used to steer governments and policy in their preferred direction across the globe?
Or that the journalist who got the story was killed in an entirely unconnected car bombing shortly afterwards though the whole story died down remarkably quickly.

Theft and looting by illegal immigrants around London......

I just had a look on social media to find out what's really going on in Australia.
Apparently, according to some bloke, Neddy Kelly-Robinson, Aboriginal cannibals are eating ordinary working class white babies.

Perhaps read the word 'trying'?

Musk is tweeting about our government non stop in an effort to control and influence. I'm sure you read his tweets. Probably while holding a tissue.
