Turned into one of my best nights at the Amex, loved it, place was rockin and the football was the best I’ve seen us play in 2nd half

Up in the West Upper the sound was horrendous but am I imagining the lack of Sussex by the Sea when we came out because we couldn't hear it if it was there?

Sat in west upper for the first time tonight and could hardly anything from the speakers. Are they always that bad?

No idea. First time up there for me too. And the last. Nice to get a good view of play but too detached from the play and yes the sound was awful. Which isn't to say it wasn't a fantastic evening.

Normally really decent the sound - not a clue what was going on tonight. Also seemed like they switched the sound to normal again at times - very strange.

I was there and wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Trossard’s magnificent goal did for my voice, let alone what followed!

Being in the North Stand for that was something I’ll never forget.

Same here. Took my son into the North, for the first time. Standing up all game, shouting / singing / chanting. Hands were red raw, at the end of the game, and hoping to get my voice back in the morning. Almost enough to make me forget about the massive under-supply of pies...

I can honestly say, that having missed only 3 or 4 home matches since The Amex opened, tonight is without doubt one of the best nights there EVER. Feel privileged to have been there tonight.

I got a ticket in the south stand. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but thought that with the Covid rules the atmosphere might be a bit sterile.

Well, I was wrong ! It was an absolutely amazing atmosphere throughout and we had a villain of the piece in Foden. Only down side was that as there were fewer fans, I had to shout louder and lost my voice now.

I was also a bit apprehensive about going and being around so many people again but once the game started I forgot about everything and it was nice to experience a rush of adrenaline again.

Just got home, what an evening! It did sound quite loud at the ground tonight for most of the game, it certainly felt like more than 7,500 in attendance. But I put that down to being in the West Upper tonight, rather than my usual seat in the rather quieter East Lower [emoji6]

In all seriousness it did sound much louder up there, I wonder whether it’s cos I was closer to the roof, whereas at the front of the East Lower any sound just ‘escapes’

No, the East stand was also making some noise. It was great seeing celebrations and hearing applause from all four stands.

To be honest I was devastated when I got Priority FOUR. That said mopped up three odd tickets in the South Stand and wow, what a night, I loved it. Directly behind the goal, loads of singing and a result that'll go down in folklore!
