Nice they are confident we'll stay up !!

Oh I don't disagree with you but on the flip side you could not expect sell out crowds, thousands on the st waiting list if we get relegated. You are right we are a growing fan base but I doubt we could command a fan base as big as Wednesday in the Championship, especially if we were struggling as they seem to be......no we would be back to 18 to 22 k at best in their posistion hence I consider they are a far bigger club than we are.....or Bournemouth, Watford, Palace ect ect ect
Yeah leave em alone guys. They’re suffering as it is and we didn’t (and still don’t) like the arrogance of so called bigger clubs.
We’re clearly a club on the up, and there’s a lot to be envious of. One of the best British chairman in the country If not the PL, an actual fan of the club. A great stadium, a blossoming youth academy and one of the most exciting young English coaches.
That’s a lot to be arrogant about right there, so we should just keep it classy, smile and pat them on their way.
Average gate for every season in the Championship after The Amex was completed was around 26-28K.
Are they still likely to get a MASSIVE points deduction for financial chicanery?
They do remind me a bit of an old rockstar who really believes he was as big as the Beatles in the Sixties, but is now touring Butlins because that’s the only way he can play to the few people who remember him.
Probably because they have hosted World Cup ('66), European Championships ('96) matches and numerous FA Cup semi-finals over the years.
More due to geographic location than the actual playing element of the club though.
Burnley and Bournemouth are certainly smaller clubs than Brighton. Coventry have had more success than us. Certainly spent more time in the top flight and won the FA Cup.
Wednesday are a bang average club though. Get a good crowd when things are on the up but most can't be bothered outside those infrequent times.

Burnley are much bigger than us.
Bournemouth smaller though
For me, tinpot is epitomised by the use of:
- goal music
- big flags behind the goals waved when the home team scores
- bubbles
- clackers (yes, I know we did this but learnt our lesson) especially regularly
- music like Glad All Over and Z-Cars
- fecking drums to try and coordinate people's chanting and generate an atmosphere
- use of a megaphone to try and do the above as well
That's a given.- matching black hoodies and baseball caps.
